King is still on the board.

For the love of god trade the crappy 5ths and 6ths and come up to the bottom of the comp 3rds

All of the picks still can't get us into the 3rd.

A 5th and a 2018 3rd might do it.

These last 20 picks have hurt me.

I saw John Johnson as the best FS with pro bowl caliber talent.

Transformational leader on the level of Jamal Adams. BC people called him a university leader. He transformed the program during a tough time.

Wanted him instead of Larry.

Sutton Gone....JuJu gone....

I understand waiting on the CB b/c there are still starter quality types on the board....

But FS is bare

Should've slept in.

Kizer? PPP - Peer Pressure Pick, it's like MKC finally got to them. Honestly, this makes no sense to me when GLARING needs and good players available to fill them (FS, DT, CB) at 52. Kizer isn't going to play (until we're down to QB3 by week 5 anyway) and what's the point of choosing him when it's pretty obvious you've stacked the deck as best you can for 2018?? If there was a QB able to step in and take his lumps this year, we would've picked him at 12 - there wasn't, its not a good year for the position. PPP, pure and simple.

And then follow it up with a DT few have heard of.

Take a fast glance at Pittsburgh's WR corps and the players the Bengals have added - then look at our FS and CB spots. Haden hasn't had a good year since 2014, Taylor is solid but c'mon ....our FS spot is a black hole. And Peppers, though i like him, is going to need some time.

What a mess.

Oh well, wouldn't be the Browns without a chump pick at QB and some "WHO?" picks earlier than usual.

Sorry, but I just don't see this - at all.

Actually I know him. He was terribly miscast as a nose tackle in a 3-4. He's a much better fit as a 3 tech. And I coincidentally had him going top of the 3rd round. Wink

Very happy so far. Loved the first round.

Kizer has the second highest ceiling in this draft behind only MaHomes. Let Brock and Cody fight it out in camp to be the starter. Sit Kizer for a year.

Browns have a bunch of fifth round picks tomorrow. Keep your SPARQ charts and National Honor Society lists handy for cross-referencing.

I would not rule out drafting another later.

Dobbs in round 5/6?

Dobbs is dead to us.

Never was not dead to us.

I approve of this thread.

Early predictions: who starts game 1 at quarterback?

-Brock Osweiler
-Cody Kessler
-Deshone Kizer
-Hornby
-Kevin Hogan

This might need its own thread.

Options 4/5 are for lulz. Well, option 5 at least. My prediction is Kessler with Osweiler not on the team. One of those though he could get cut or could open the year as the starter.

I'm not a Kizer fan. Hoping he's the answer though, they need to nurse him along for a little bit and let him learn from the sidelines. In an ideal world on a good team, his best chance would have been to not see the field for the first year or two. Not realistic here.

I'd bet Kessler unless Kizer has a Russell Wilson camp/preseason. Kessler kept last years team in games, he should have a chance to win some this year with the improved offensive line and front 7.
