Nobody predicted Davis at #5. Thought Mike Williams would be the highest WR picked.

But the pundits did debate who was the best WR.
However this draft has been fun...and unpredictable.

See my mock. Smile

Yeah I had us drafting Davis and Jackson in my official mock, but every day I changed my mind on which prospects I liked better than others. Just yesterday I was on Mike Williams side.

I think Corey fits perfectly into our O. He is a well rounded WR and can excel in any area on the field. He can get open on a quick route and get RAC. He can be a deep threat. With him eventually at 1, Matthews at 2 and Walker at TE, this O can really sky rocket so long as Mariota stays healthy and the line and run game continues their success from last season.

I just watched the draft video and man Davis's hands are HUGE!!! They look disproportional to his body

As expected, Davis will wear #84.

Love this pick more and more each day. Feels good to get the guy you really wanted.

I think they are going to pull a Browns and keep the jersey basically the same. But yeah if your gonna spend money might as well wait.

I hope so. The future of my username is at risk.

The last player from the MAC drafted at #5 turned out to be pretty ok...

Khalil Mack 😎

This is a nice read on Davis, giving the good and bad.

Looking back I have to say, I like Davis more than Williams, but it makes me a bit nervous that we didn't get any numbers from Davis from the combine due to injury.

Combine numbers are overrated. Like when people act like a quarterback not doing a lot of reps on bench press should hurt his draft stock Laughing

Combine numbers are overrated. Players get pushed up and down unjustly.
Corey Davis plays faster than DGB looked on film and DGB ran a 4.4. And never looked fast in the NFL.

Davis looked fast on film and that's good enough for me.

What makes me uneasy is not seeing him at the senior bowl. I wanted to see him go up against those guys.

Really hope he turns into a dominant WR, as that's something we've never had in 20 years in Nashville. D-Mase was as close as we've had, but he was never a guy that came in an bossed a game like the greats. Would be amazing if Davis is that guy given how talented the rest of the young roster is.

Since they've been in Nashville, we've had guys kill it most every other position group at certain points, but WR has been our achilles heal year after year.
