I'm not ready to turn the page on Pryor yet and drafting Adams shouldn't change that. Find a role for him. Hybrid LB is what I like. Let Adams play more that SS role.
The problem is that the dude is abysmal in coverage. We'd have to be very creative with him.

Why do we have to find a role for Pryor? We are paying him, either you play well and fit or you don't. He hasn't done nearly enough for us to start catering to him at all. He's been bad in coverage misses tackles and really hasn't shown enough that he'd thrive as Rover either. Not saying turn the page but he's been a very below average safety.

I don't think Pryor will have his role change much at all.

Lee, Adams, and Pryor are fast and, if they step up, can make the middle of the Jets defense really good.

The Jets had Pryor playing FS early in his career. And almost every Jets player on defense underperformed last year. I still have hope that, if put in the right spot, Pryor can be a solid player. He struggles in coverage. I think he is best playing close to the line of scrimmage where he can focus on the run game and blitzing.

The fact that we have an actual game-day coach and team-figure now (because Bowles is a tin man) is so underrated

Every single one of our players on that side of the ball iis going to get better now

Been saying for months he can have a Landon Collins impact on our defense and make everyone better.

2 years ago Pryor was excellent.

He even neutralized Gronk until he got hurt.

Yet everyone wants to trade him after a year where not 1 player on our team played well

The entire secondary was a mess last year, no one was on the same page. He is fixable especially with Adams here.

LOVE THIS

Let's bank on Wilkerson and Richardson getting back into their grooves

Should play next to Lee imo. Make him start gaining muscle asap.

I dunno man we have corners bigger than he is. Its not like hes a 6'1 225 SS. Hes 5'11 210 and would get swallowed by OLmen. After this draft he has no place with us and I don't think is so easy to just say throw on some size and go from SS to ILB. I wish we could but I just don't see it.
