Daeshon Hall is 6'5 266 with 35" arms. He gets to spend the next year learning from Julius Peppers, Charles Johnson, and one of the best DL coaches in the NFL, and then we get to see him really suit up and get significant snaps. I dig it. Also, he's played 12 and 13 games the past two years so IDK what Lasus is talking about.

Yeeeah, you've lost it brochacho. I don't always agree with Gettleman, and would have preferred to move up another few spots to secure Willis in the 3rd, but this class was incredibly solid overall.

I'm very content with our draft so far. Added a couple playmakers to offense to help Cam spread the ball around. Grabbed a decent OT with good strength. There were a couple other DEs I wanted over Hall but he can pan out to be a future starter if he's committed. I would have preferred Rivers or Willis but I think we are looking good so far. Hope we add a TE, DB and some OL depth tomorrow

I guess you can disagree with the trade-up but personally, I'm liking the draft so far. Samuel is raw, but he's an elite athlete with top-tier burst and speed. It feels like the Panthers are finally realizing that Newton works far better with quicker receivers than guys like Benjamin, at least based off the receivers we have signed in free agency so far and the selections of McCaffrey/Samuel.

Moton and Hall are very good depth selections too. Hall is a fit fit on our defense, we value the ability for an end to kick inside on passing downs which he can do.

I kinda wish we had taken a safety (like Obi) over Samuel, but it is hard for me to complain about them adding weapons on offense. We desperately needed speed added.

Through 3 rounds it looks like solid moves from the offensive side. Giving Cam not only weapons but protection as well.

Hall will be a beast.

4-7 will be very defensive.

Some players I'm hoping we draft:

TE - Hodges, Kittle, Sprinkle, Croom and Hollister

OL - Holden, Asiata, Bisnowaty, Dielman, Eluemanor and Collins

DL - Lawson, Qualls and V.Taylor

CB - Myrick, B.Allen and Lampkin

S - J.Ford, DeAndrade, D.Jones, and Nicholson

Lawson, Hodges and Butt are at the top of my list.

Lawson and Butt could have been 1st rounders if they could have just been judged off of on the field play

Lawson is one of the top athletic pass rushers in this draft but has slipped due to injury concerns. Injured his ACL in the spring and the following year missed half the season due to a hip injury.

Butt is another guy that has slipped due to injury. He had an ACL injury during the Citrus Bowl. I think he's still worth a look on day 3.

Hodges is probably my #1 guy right now but really doubt he makes it all the way to our 5th round pick. We could trade up.. which isn't unrealistic but we have already traded up already once in the draft. Hodges is an amazing prospect and is gold on a day 3 selection. Has all the intagibles to be a starter in the NFL. Just needs to work on his run blocking and polish his route running.

DE, Carl Lawson
TE, Jake Butt
TE, Bucky Hodges

I'm hoping we have an opportunity to get any one of those 3 guys. I would trade up for Lawson.

Caleb Brantley is a good prospect too, but I doubt he is on our board.

Our focus will still be offensive anything and pass rushers.

Hope we can grab a safety or corner. Don't think the team is particularly interested in any tight ends who weren't Howard/Njoku/Engram. Also, we oughtta pull the trigger on a FB.

Ugh... not sure why we passed on Bucky Hodges. A CB, especially a nickel CB definitely could have waited a round or two. Hoping for Hodges, Hollister or Carter
