Rankings are for Green Bay only. Attempted to fit Ted's style and Green Bay's needs together as a total amateur. If you feel differently about some rankings, cool, I really only do this for my entertainment. I gather as much information as possible on each prospect and in some cases, particularly positions we expect to draft high, I will look at them directly through whatever resources I can get my hands on.

Here is what I tailored my board to positionally, and schematically...

QB: Need extreme value to take one. Again, this is for drafting to Green Bay.
RB: Wanted a big, bruiser to pair with Monty who can block and catch who is fair value.
FB: A very late athletic upgrade to Kerridge, possibly, but almost no interest in the position.
WR: Leaned toward speed and YAC, looking for good value.
TE: Need either a special talent, or great value to consider one.
OL: Need either a special talent early, great value, or a versatile guy on day 3.
DL: Need either a special talent early, great value, or a versatile guy on day 3.
LB: Anytime it's BPA.
CB: Anytime it's BPA.
S: Need either a special talent early, or BPA Round 3 on.
K: Nope.
P: Only with the throw away 7th rounder if BPA.

A player with an "M" means he has a Medical issue that each team will have to weigh using their doctors. I am also sure I didn't see all the medical issues present with every player, so I won't be surprised when someone falls due to medical that I didn't note. Unfortunately, I also had to include "L" for players with SERIOUS legal issues going on that we don't know the outcome of. I didn't flag anyone with character issues and instead tried to reflect each case in my grade. There are also a couple players with "z?" for a grade, which indicates I couldn't get enough information on them to know where the hell I should put them. Finally, you won't find Joe Mixon on my board, which is a result of the Tebow effect; that is, the media coverage makes him such a headache that I can't take it. Great player, but someone else can take the distraction.

I have had some success doing this, with my top available lining up with the Packers 6 times in the last 3 years. I will give you all your money back if I hit on any of them this year, as I believe I have been very lucky thus far.

Pick 29. Tre'Davious White, CB/RS, LSU. 5'11" 192 LBS. 4.47 Forty.
~ Can play the boundary or the slot, man or zone, experienced on an island, his size is the only reason he's not going in the top 10. He's still the 10th player on my board, so I'll gladly take him here, play him in the slot this year, and see where he goes from there.

Round 2. Derek Rivers, OLB, Youngstown St. 6'4" 248 LBS. 4.61 Forty.
~ Measurables and production is all there as a pass rusher. NFL will be a jump for him though and he isn't an every down guy until year 2.

Round 3. Samaje Perine, RB, Oklahoma. 5'11" 233 LBS. 4.65 Forty.
~ Brick Sh House. He doesn't have wiggle, but he's going to require two guys to bring down, has soft hands if we want to run hurry up with him, and his size should lend itself well to pass blocking.

Round 4. Eddie Vanderdoes, DL, UCLA. 6'3" 305 LBS. 4.99 Forty.
~ I'm going risk/reward here. Before tearing an ACL in 2015, Vanderdoes was both a bull and a ballerina rolled into a 300 pound frame, brute strength and terrific movement. He hasn't been the same since, but if he gets closer to pre-injury form, watch out.

Round 5. Stacy Coley, WR, Miami. 6' 195 LBS. 4.45 Forty.
~ Fast, sudden, raw talent. Deep threat. YAC ability is attractive.

Round 5. Rayshawn Jenkins, S, Miami. 6'1" 214 LBS. 4.51 Forty.

~ Nice size/speed ratio and a well rounder player without any outstanding traits. Possibly a guy who can develop into a starter or rotational safety.

Round 6. Chase Roullier, G/C, Wyoming. 6'4" 312 LBS. 5.54 Forty.
~ Power interior lineman. Depth piece. Full time NFL regiment would benefit him.

Round 7. Xavier Coleman, CB, Portland St. 5'11 190 LBS. 4.5 Forty.
~ Small school corner who caught attention with a nice Pro Day and comes with a ton of experience and production while serving as team captain the last two years.

Thank you sir! You did an awesome job.

I know you did a lot of work but if you have a second could you give me an NFL comparison to the first 3 picks?

I still think we go Mixon or Watt at #1, but the rest of this looks like a TT draft, especially that 6th round pick. He appears to have the mold for what we look for in our Guards in particular.

Thanks. I absolutely despise player comparisons because you have a ton of development projected before they get there and there are so many variables. If I was trying to appease you I'd say Malcolm Butler for White after development, Connor Barwin for Rivers after development, and Cedric Benson pretty much immediately.

Cant fathom how anyone making Packers specific board can rate Jourdan Lewis (height negative, character negative) that much higher than Kevin King.

Based purely on talent Moreau over King is a complete headscratcher.

Moreau has bad hands, and couldn't cover anyone with an NFL future.

EDIT: I get it now, you don't like tall corners.

I think they feel that Montgomery is such a good fit in this offense, they will really just try to find a guy who has strengths in short yardage, but doesn't stop us from running the hurry up. That's Perine for me.

Watt could definitely be BPA on my board during our pick, and I wouldn't have any issue with it. There are a wide array of opinions on him. I have feelings that Mathews/Perry/Fack/Elliott may be better in the minds of the coaches than the general public, and here's how I came to consider that as a possibility.

Clay and Perry are what they are. I'm sure Fackrell, being last years 3rd rounder is in the plans to some degree, whether thats as the 3rd or 4th OLB is yet to be seen. Jayrone Elliott was an untendered RFA this offseason because the 1.65 Million we'd have to pay him was above what he's worth to anyone in the NFL. He's flashed here previous to last year when injuries basically wasted his shot but he just wasn't worth 1.65 Million. We know he turned down a better offer from Pittsburgh, a two year deal, to return to Green Bay for one year. If I were Elliott, the only way I'm turning down the two year deal for the one year deal is if I am happy in Green Bay, and management tells me I will get a chance to be on the field on Defense where I can make my next contract better. So Green Bay would, liking Elliott as a player, agree that Elliott is going to be in the rotation weekly or an injury or a Mathews move to ILB away from having a shot to prove he's worth more in the 2018 offseason. I think Elliott is our 4th or 5th OLB this year, depending on the draft, and I think management is okay with Mathews/Perry/Fackrell/Elliott as the 4 OLB if the board for OLB is terrible when they pick all through the draft.

I love mocks! So thanks for posting one. I like your mock. I have a gut feeling that we won't address the corner position in the 1st because you can get just as good of a player in the 2nd and the only way to get a stud edge rusher would be to grab one early.

I get the size issues with him, no doubt. I just don't think he plays small, and all the rest of the game is already there.

I read the police report on his character flag. Probably the first time I've ever NOT thought the player actually did something wrong. Is there more than that?

Here's my problem with King, and Witherspoon, because like Chili said in the Defense thread, the difference between them isn't obvious.

A) Randall, Rollins, Goodson, Hyde, Hayward, all under 6'. House, Underwood, Lee, Blackmon, Mike Hawkins all 6'1 or 6'. Ted's never drafted a CB that tall. Not that they are common, but he's never done so and look at the types he's targeted with Dom at DC and which of them have panned out in the NFL. He's going after the guys that aren't restricted to the boundary. He's targeting players who can play inside and out. That versatility is key for him.

B) They can't tackle nor are they technicians. Neither of them.

I can be swayed on the first point. Name me the cornerbacks in the NFL who are 6'3 and up who are starting. I can't think of anyone other than Sherman and Browner, and they are known for holding receivers for a reason.

Could you find a less flattering picture of Chase Roullier?

Just kidding, thanks for the rankings. I'll have them tabbed for when we pick

I can be swayed on the first point. Name me the cornerbacks in the NFL who are 6'3 and up who are starting. I can't think of anyone other than Sherman and Browner, and they are known for holding receivers for a reason.

Awuzie (2nd most)
Tankersley
