2. Almost every rival team Iíve talked to raved about the Redskinsí class. From DE Jonathan Allen and LB Ryan Anderson early to TE Jeremy Sprinkle late, Washington seems to have crushed it. They found value in falling players across the board.

Awesome! Question; if Allen, Anderson, Moreau, Perine and Sprinkle are contributors this year will change your avatar again? Wink

He shouldn't until Bruce Allen is fired. Its not about picks and free agent signings, the guy is a snake that treats his employees like crap. He also threw a very public and embarrassing tantrum because he wasn't getting credit for the Redskins recent success. I have no respect for him and never will. He's an embarrassment to the organization.

If we have a successful draft next year without using Scot's board (2017) or without him being a consultant (2014), then yes, I will.

Though I agree, if I waited til then, it would never get changed Laughing . I have a feeling Bruce Allen will stick around for a long time. Or at least until we get the new stadium Danny wants so badly.

Public tantrum? Can you please point me to that video, I'd love to see it! Laughing

So, if we ever win a super bowl and Bruce Allen is still team President, you won't be excited about it and won't tip your cap to him?

I think we are going to have to learn to live with Bruce, just like we have learned that we must live with Dan Snyder. The only way Bruce is going anywhere is if this franchise totally tanks for years while he's the team President, meaning like 3 to 5 years of complete bottom feeder suckage and I just don't see that happenejng.

Bruce Allen's success or failure will hinge on two things:
1. Kirk Cousins
2. Demonstration of his ability to plan more than a year in the future

So far, with the way they've handled Kirk, #2 is seriously in doubt.

2014 offseason led to the NFCE championship in 2015. He also did hire McCloughan, it just didn't work out for whatever reason.

The 2014 offseason?

Free Agents
- Jason Hatcher
- Akeem Jordan
- Shawn Lauvao
- Brandon Meriweather
- Tracy Porter
- Andre Roberts

Re-signing
- DeAngelo Hall
- Perry Riley

Draft picks
- Trent Murphy
- Morgan Moses
- Spencer Long
- Bashaud Breeland
- Ryan Grant
- Lache Seastrunk
- Ted Bolser
- Zach Hocker

Outside of Moses and Lauvao, what moves made in 2014 helped us in 2015? Breeland was decent, but the downswing had started. Hatcher was an injured shell of himself. Hall was okay as free safety, but nothing special. The others barely played (if they were even on the roster a year later).

Jason Hatcher was signed to a 4-year $27.5 mil contract and gave us one decent season, he was practically worthless in 2015. Akeem Jordan appeared in 2 games in 2014, which was his last season in the NFL. Shawn Lauvao is one of the worst starting Guards in the NFL. Brandon Meriweather led the team in personal fouls and was a liability in coverage. Tracy Porter never played a down for the Redskins. Andre Roberts was another terrible signing who barely contributed anything.

Hall was solid. The Perry Riley resigning was a complete overpay and another terrible contract.

Trent Murphy has been a huge disappointment until the season he was suspended for PUDs. Morgan Moses was a good pick. Spencer Long is solid, but he didn't really contribute much until 2016. Breeland has been hit or miss. Ryan Grant sucks. Seastrunk didn't make the roster. Bolster didn't make the roster. Hocker wasn't very good.

We won the division in 2015 because the division was very weak and someone had to win it.

My point was some helped us win the division, not anything else.

Desean Jackson and Hatcher were solid starters in 2015.

In 2015, Long started down the stretch when we went on our run, and he became the starting center in 2016 and could be our long term answer.

Moses is our starting RT and we just signed him to a 5 year deal bc he's one of the best RTs in the NFL.

Breeland most certainly played better in 2015 - probably bc of health - than he did last year and certainly helped us win the division.

Hall IMO saved the season with his scoop and score vs Phila, I'm not sure win the game w/o that play. Bradford and the Eagles had stolen some momentum before Murray's fumble.

Murphy wasn't great but he made some timely plays down the stretch. I vividly remember his sack, strip and fumble recovery of Cutler in the Bears win.
