Definitely a step back from TJ Lang, but easily preferable to Don Barclay.

Jahri Evans was solid for the saints last year so he could start and at the very worst he's a solid mentor/backup to add to the locker room.

Yes. I remember hearing how the Packers don't sign old offensive linemen. This is why they needed to let T.J. Lang go. So they could get someone younger.

Someone like Jahri Evans. Laughing

You're talking probably 1 year 1 million vs 3/27m.

We dont PAY old OL, huge difference.

He was actually pretty good last year, should be a decent stopgap.

Ya, I dig. We value pass pro, that's what he can do. Can't imagine anyone out there for GB fans being upset here about it, good signing.

Good signing. Still bummed to see the packers lose lang and sitton because I feel like interior OL ages better than most NFL positions besides QB, but an argument for another day.

Evans is 34 this year but still talented. Got to think the Packers address the offensive line at the draft though.

That's what I heard. Schneider said a regret of his was letting Jahri go

I believe they thought they could cut him and bring him back if needed
