Everyone knows he's a pass pro guy. Overall...okay Yeah he deny move anyone. But on the other site he's still got that like he always did and that's what we are going to prioritize with Aaron.

Can't find a person who didn't like this.

Perfect stop-gap

Well I'll be damned. Solid move that allows GB to not have to chase a Guard early in the draft and more importantly it means Barclay isn't a threat to start

Perfect stop-gap sort of move for a contending team.

Seattle cut Evans last season and their oline is nothing special. Evans is going to be a backup guard.

Cad beat me but I'm saying it anyway.

Yeah they cut him..then John Schneider would later say he really [inappropriate/removed] up.

Our new guard graded out at #10 in this list.

This is really the ideal move, TT doin' work!

I don't see how people can keep complaining about the OG position now. As we learned last year at LG, there's not that much of a difference between an average OG and a top 10 OG.

How much have the Packers saved by moving on from Sitton and Lang? Including Sitton's contract in in 2016, the Packers will probably save $50M!

Shocked

About enough to extend two to three good guys at more premium positions, on team-friendly deals...

Love the move, even if it only pushes Barclay off the roster Wink

Whos the only back up center at this point? Barclay still makes the team as I see it.

Oh no! I didn't think of that! I guess TT is forced to draft a C then... Laughing

Nice cheap deal for Jahri Evans. 1 year - 1.15 mil. That should prove out to be a huge bargain.

Brian Carriveau @BrianCarriveau
The deal offensive lineman Jahri Evans signed with the Green Bay #Packers is for one year with a base salary of $1.150 million.

“I thought he hit the wall a couple years ago,” said a personnel man for an NFC team that studied the guard market in unrestricted free agency. “But he played better last year. "
