Love what we've done thus far. All picks had tremendous value and filled a need. Doesn't get much better than that in a draft. Every pick has a chance to start day one, which is exactly what you need to do rounds 1-3...

4-7 rounds are all about addressing depth. I'd expect us to grab some trench guys either OL or DL...

I wouldn't touch OL. I'm not a huge fan of this class. I feel it's a reach over any value at that position. There's still draft able guys at DL and RB.

I've warmed up to the Evans pick. If he can. meat. to form tackle instead of goo g for the knockout shot every time he could be a very good player. Beckwith still gives me mixed emotions but the Bucs stayed true to their board and got a guy they liked. Coming off an acl injury I don't know how much we get out of him but I think he provides great depth to a position that needs it.

I'm calling it now Evans starts a fight on Hard Knocks. I think he's gonna pop someone in practice and ruffle some feathers. Hopefully it's against the Jags and not friendly fire.

And speaking of RB, we may just decide to do something like what the Saints did. They have Ingram and brought Peterson in for a 2 year deal. Since Doug sits the first 3 games and we (to this point) didn't draft a RB, maybe we bring in someone like Charles for 2 years. Regardless of position, I expect a few remaining free agents to be gobbled up as soon as the draft is in the books.

I wouldn't spend a draft pick on a RB at this point. Go the UDFA route and see who gets cut from the teams that drafted RBs high. Hopefully, grab a dlinemen or even another TE. Stocker can't stay healthy, but he provides versatility as an in-line TE and FB. If Roberts falls to the 5th round, I can see value in getting him. Brate is still very valuable, but hoping he can get better in the blocking department is a stretch.

The running game will look a lot better with Howard as the in-line TE no matter who is getting the ball. Finally, this offense will sink or swim with Winston. It is year 3. Now is the time to take the final leap to be a top 10 QB and hopefully eventually top 5. He has experience, OC stability, and dynamic play makers. It's all on him and I'm good with this going into the season.

I'm kind of hoping Marlon Mack falls to us in the 5th.

I brought up sending a pick to the Bengals for Hill as well Red but I love the idea of brining Ware. Big fan of his. Bowling ball that can catch. He slipped some later in the year. I think it's a combo of Reid not using him right and the fact that he had a concussion.

I just have to come to terms that Martin will be around for another season Laughing

I honestly think we'll forgo taking a RB. We could use an OT for depth. I think that's really our only need right now. So that's good. We've done a great job in this draft.

Adam Bisnowaty, OT, Pittsburgh

That's the guy I want since Davenport is gone.

Sam Tevi from Utah is a guy we've talked to.
Quote:
Has decent size [6'5" 311lbs] and enough athletic ability to warrant a look as a swing tackle. His lack of anchor in the passing game and instincts against twists could be big problems for offensive line coaches.

Mason Zandi is another.
Quote:
The 6-foot-9, 315-pound Zandi was one of the better offensive line prospects not invited to the NFL Scouting Combine, a backhanded compliment if there ever was one. He has NFL size, of course, and is a solid run blocker. Unfortunately, his pass protection isn't close to being NFL caliber at the moment. Zandi projects to right tackle in the pros.
