Blast from past: NFL conditionally reinstated Arizona LB Daryl Washington, and he plans to play in 2017, per source.

Washington was all-pro in 2012 but hadn't played in 3 years. He's 30 years old.

If he's anywhere near what he was, he'll be a boost to that defense in arizona.

He won't be close to what he was. He's 30, and been out of football for a few years. He can still contribute though, doubt he's close to what he was..which is a shame cuz he was damn good.

According to Somers his deal was frozen when suspended sobhes dtill under contract for 4 years. He could still be facing suspension for a DV incident in 2013 that he pleaded guilty to.

that's what I'm saying, no way he plays on that contract. cause he was one of the best players in the NFL, I imagine it isn't a small contract. so restructure or cut him are the reasonable options.

If Joe Montana is anywhere near where he was in his prime, he'd come out of retirement and win a couple of more Super Bowls.

No NFL team is going to be interested in a proven idiot that hasn't played in three years. He's done.

never mind, will only count 2.9 million more if we keep him at the current contract.

He cares about the money that comes with football, I will never get the "he doesn't care" argument unless it pertains to certain individuals.

Up next...Justin Blackmon?

These mult-season suspensions are so lame. Goddell needs a power check.

Lol. Doubt youll ever see Blackmon again. He was indefinitely suspended, was denied reinstatement in 2015, and then proceeded to go get another DUI.

Sad story cuz Blackmon by all accounts was just a super depressed guy who drank away his career...
