Something I've heard brought up a lot recently being pushed more so after the first couple rounds of the draft. Since 2007 the only Colts draft pick (out of 34 defenders drafted) to earn a second contract from the Colts was Fili Moala and he only got a one year deal.
If the Colts select defense with the first of their 4th round picks it will be the first time since 2002 that the Colts drafted defense with the first 4 picks.
2002 draft
-->1/11 Dwight Freeney DE
-->2/42 Larry Triplett DT
-->3/74 Joseph Jefferson CB
--<4/106 David Thornton OLB
-->6/182 David Pugh DT
-->6/183 James Lewis DB
6/204 Brian Allen HB
-->7/220 Josh Mallard DE _________________ Colts/Badgers/Brewers/Bucks |

Steelers draft a QB
QB from Tennessee with a big forehead, sounds familiar...... probably not going to get the same results. _________________ Colts/Badgers/Brewers/Bucks |

We have hit on almost all my important positions. Could use ILB, another Edge another CB or WR/TE.
If Jake Butt is still there when we pick in round 5 I wouldn't mind taking a flyer on him _________________ Colts/Badgers/Brewers/Bucks |

Well, stallyns, your team is having a strong and impressive draft- one of the best of all teams, through Round 4. (Don't suppose you miss Ryan Grigson). What the hey, maybe you'll get some more posters to join your fanbase. _________________ Nacho! Leave it! |
