It's possible we could be in that 8-10th pick range again with our current RB and CB group.

Top 10: Derwin James S/Saquon Barkley RB
Mid Round 1: Courtland Sutton WR
Late Round 1: Nick Chubb RB/Derrius Guice RB

This is my hope for now. Not having a 2nd is going to suck. Would have liked Jordan Whitehead in the 2nd after going Saquon round 1.

No 2 but remember they will have 3 4ths, so plenty of trade up ammo.

Guice won't go far after Barkley.

The Browns have two 1sts and three 2nds. They will probably get Saquon, Derwin, and Courtland.

OK.

If Cameron Johnson doesn't work out this year (and there is a chance he might, he is a solid punter), who do the Eagles look at next year?

My answer would be Jake Scott from Alabama. Discuss.

Scott is obviously great. Led the nation in punt average as a freshman I believe and was a monster in the playoff game against Ohio State this year.

The question is how high of a pick would you be willing to spend on a punter?

JK Scott hasn't been nearly as good since his freshman year

His only meh year was his Sophomore season. I thought he got back to being good last year.

His punt average his freshman year was 48.0 which was best in college football.

The following year after he fell to 24th in the nation with an average of 44.2.

Then, last year he finished with 47.2 which was good for 4th in college football. The best last year was 47.9 set by another SEC punter in Johnny Townsend of Florida.

His freshman year was insane though. I mean his average of 48.0 is higher than any NFL punters' average was that year. Laughing

His average this past season would have been 7th best (6th best among returning punters) in the NFL in 2016.

Granted, this is all about length and is only part of the evaluation. This stuff doesn't tell us about his accuracy like how good he is at pinning teams inside their 20 yard line.

My preference is not having to draft punters or kickers though.

Hopefully Johnston balls out in camp and earns the job, so this isn't even a discussion next year.

The stats tell a different story than watching the games.

He was inconsistent as a junior. He hasn't been the same since he really came out in that Ohio State game.

He's good. Not great.

Never worth drafting a kicker or punter.

Never.

Roberto Aguayo is a perfect example.

Why would the Giants take a WR?
