I can't believe they are going start both Flowers and DJ.

Pretty stoked with how the draft is shaking up after the Lamp/Feeney selections.

Going into round 4 I would hope they target Jaleel Johnson (DT/NT), Caleb Brantley (DT/NT), Desmond King (*CB/S) , Eddie Jackson (S), Tedric Thompson (S) or even Brad Kaaya (QB).

Did Brantley do something off field to make him fall or was that someone else? I forget. If not him and Desmond King being available is crazy and I'd be happy with either.

Loved day 2. Gotta rebuild that OL.

Brantley got in trouble last week when a report surfaced that he had knocked a woman unconscious when she solicited him for sex. Apparently their was video and according to witnesses, Brantley shoved her and never punched her. The video supposedly had the woman walking away from the scene just fine. Personally I don't know if he is off the hook or what the allegations are yet, but he would be a great value if if he is clean in all of this.

Yesterday makes a ton of sense to me. Other than the fact that I had a mid 1st round grade on Lamp, and an early-mid 2nd round grade on Feeney (and this is how the Chargers had them as well from a VERY reliable source, via Kyle Posey). They were my top 2 OG's in the draft. The Chargers original plan was to trade back and pick Lamp mid/late 1st, and Feeney with our original 2nd. Just go look at Telesco's face on the interview after both of these picks, the dude is so happy he's almost crying. He thinks he KILLED this draft.

This is interesting though because Both Feeney and Lamp can play 4-5 positions on the OL respectively. So there's some reason to think they can move them around, but the FO see's them as their OG's now with maybe 1 (likely Feeney) kicking into C in the future. The source says their "new OL" is Okung-Lamp-Tuerk-Feeney-Barksdale and he's was crazy excited about it.

Both of those guys fit the scheme PERFECTLY and are going to be really good IMO. I think the most important thing though, is that this team thinks that they had the defense to win games, what they needed were guys who will close out games. Our OL FLOPPED down the stretch and fell apart, during the time of the game, where they're supposed to be grinding defenses down. We got MUCH more athletic, and much more nasty on the OL, and we're going to make DAMN sure that they finish games strong. The massive human beings we had before just died out late in games.

I'm really excited to see what this OL coach can do with this fully rebuilt OL.

I like the direction they went with Rayshawn Jenkins.

Even though the FO loves Addae, they have to admit that you can't count on him staying healthy for 16 games. Jenkins will get a chance to start a few games at SS if he performs well in camp. It also seems like Bradley may want to try McCoil at FS rather than backing up Addae.

Desmond King in the 5th is great value!

The guy is an "iron man", productive, and experienced player-obviously their are concerns about his size and long speed, but people were comparing his game to the Brandon Flowers of old.

Likely plays Nickel, but maybe he will move to Free Safety in time?

Still hoping Kaaya is on the board next time we pick (doubt it).

Desmond King is a stud, you guys got a real steal here. He's a ball hawk and dangerous with the ball in his hands.

Chargers said he was a safety on Twitter

Telesco said in the presser that King is goign to play some slot. So basically, he'll start out as the 3rd safety/slot guy and contribute as a returner. Which is just fine. Definitely room to move up the depth chart.

Really couldn't have asked for a better draft, Fixing the o-line and adding Mike Williams was a nice addition. Still think we should've taken Hooker or Allen over Williams since they're both better players and prospects but after day 2 I can't complain.

Also go (South Carolina) Charleston Dingoes. Looking for a co-owner for a fantasy team so PM me please.

Like I said in the main draft thread, it sounds like (guys I'm hearing this from are pretty dependable), Chargers have got a trade-in-principle agreed with the Jets to swap Franklin for Calvin Pryor. It's basically a salary-wash this season, but frees up cap next year.
