wow... MAJOR props to Telesco for standing strong and letting his target fall to him

I would have been trying to trade up with every team before us (maybe he was and nobody bit).

WE GOT LAMP Cool

This makes up for the Mike Williams pick.

Such a perfect pick... fully expected Telesco to trade up for him.

Now the question is which safety do we end up with in the 3rd? Would really like to see either Obi or Josh Jones even if it requires a trade up.

It seemed like every team ahead of us was primed to pick OL but a lot of them traded out and we stood still and let it happen. Would Robinson have been someone we would have preferred? Or does Lamp make more sense? Either way tremendous value. Great pick.

I wouldn't put it past them to take a RB. I can't see Lynn being happy with just Farrow and Oliver backing up Gordon, though I'm not sure who would be a good fit.

I wonder how the offensive line will shake up now.

LT-Dunlap
LG-Slauson
C-Turek
RG-Lamp
RT-Barksdale

I know Franklin is under contract, but he really doesn't fit the scheme Lynn wants to run.

Nope...

Curious how Turek turns out since we didn't see him last year and what happens with Slauson with the addition of Turek/Lamp. Donavon Clark also showed a lot of potential early last year before getting hurt.

You know, it wouldn't shock me either but I think they go RB later.

Going O in the first 2 rounds, I fully expect a D pick in the 3rd.

And Feeney now

Is Rivers drafting?

Old habits die hard.Laughing

They just took Feeney, so this may mean Turek sits another year because I am not sure you want three rookies (and Turek is effectively a rookie still) protecting Phil.

Great job shoring up the interior. I hate it!

Good point... Slauson helps one more year in the middle to help Lamp and Freeney get used to the NFL game, Turek plays backup and prepares to start in 2018.

While I wasn't a fan of the Williams pick, its now obvious what the strategy was coming into this years draft.... take some of the pressure (pun intended) off of Rivers.

Still think safety is a big concern.

Jairus Byrd is still a free agent. We'd be a good fit on a one-year, re-establish your value type of deal.
