This is how I think the draft will pan out, given everything I've read and put together. Let me know if I got something blatantly wrong or your team has been linked to another, better player that is available for them in this mock draft. I'm not predicting trades in this mock, but I do occasionally mention them in the short write ups if I think one could happen at a certain spot.

1. Browns- Myles Garrett
--No brainer. I don't think a QB is in play at 1. As a trade back into the first, definitely a possibility. But not here.

2. Niners- Malik Hooker
--Total toss up pick. I sincerely doubt the pick is a QB and I don't
think they are high on a lot of the consensus guys like Jonathan Allen
and Solomon Thomas. I think the Niners seriously consider Fournette here, but instead take the safety that they think has the most upside. I personally love Jamal Adams, but I think teams are higher on Hooker.

3. Bears- Deshaun Watson
--QB is definitely the pick here, it's just a matter of which one they
like the best. I think Watson is the guy they like the most, so he is the
pick here.

4. Jags- Leonard Fournette
--I think the Jags are in love with Fournette and will run to the podium
to make this pick.

5. Titans- Jamal Adams
--Lebeau is going to recognize the talent and smarts Adams have and I imagine lobby highly for this pick to be made. Great pick too. Adams is very possibly the best overall defensive prospect in this draft.

6. Jets- Mitchell Trubisky
--I think the Jets, like the Bears, are another team that has made the decision to take a QB with their first round pick. Trubisky makes a lot of sense for them.

7. Chargers- Mike Williams
--I read something interesting today about how little the Chargers run 3 WR sets. They had the league low in that category last year with something ridiculous like 11%. The problem is their WRs are extremely injury prone. I think with the 2 safeties gone they look to get a guy who can be a staple in their offense. Williams has all the #1 WR traits you want.

8. Panthers- Christian McCaffrey
--The buzz is that McCaffrey won't make it out of the top-10 and I think that is true. With Fournette gone, the Panthers take the 2nd best RB in the class and don't think twice. If McCaffrey does get past this point, I'd expect Elway to be making calls to try to move up and get his guy.

9. Bengals- Rueben Foster
--Another pick that just makes a lot of sense.

10. Bills- Jonathan Allen
--The Bills stop Allen's slide, as the 2 QBs they've been linked to, Watson and Trubisky, are both gone and I don't think they are sold on Mahomes, who is far and away the #3 guy for most teams at the very lowest. Taking the value seems like a solid move.

11. Saints- Gareon Conley
--Yes, Conley goes before any other CB. I've been super high on Conley all through the draft process and I think GMs are as well.

12. Browns- OJ Howard
--They could take Mahomes here, but I think the more interesting scenario is the Cardinals moving up 1 spot to 12 to take Mahomes. I think he is the guy for Arizona and other teams will be looking to trade with Cleveland, who is always willing to move back, to get the last top tier QB on their board. In this case, there is no trade and Cleveland just takes a very solid player.

13. Cardinals- Patrick Mahomes
--As stated in the previous pick, I think Mahomes is their guy and if he is just there at 13, the pick should come in quickly.

14. Eagles- Marshon Lattimore
--I think the Eagles also have Conley over Lattimore, but Lattimore is really good value here at a position they are so desperately in need of talent in.

15. Colts- Haason Reddick
--Another case where I think a team gets its guy. Reddick is a stud and the Colts get a much needed pass rusher.

16. Ravens- Solomon Thomas
--The value would be too much for Ozzie to pass up here. His size turned off the teams before the Ravens, but he's a guy who you can put anywhere aong the DL and he'll produce.

17. Washington- Derek Barnett
--It's hard to get a reading on what Washington is going to do since there seems to be so few rumors coming out of that camp. I've got to imagine they'd value a highly productive DE though and Barnett is great value here.

18. Titans- John Ross
--The Titans have a big need at WR and get a speedster that can stretch the field. I think the Titans would jump at the chance of getting Ross at 18.

19. Bucs- Dalvin Cook
--The Bucs finally stop Cook's free fall. I think they will be highly tempted by Corey Davis here, but the Bucs have been linked to Cook recently and the pick makes sense from a need perspective.

20. Broncos- Cam Robinson
--I think this pick is definitely a tackle in this scenario, and since the Broncos would have their pick of any of them, it's just a matter of which one they want. I think Robinson and Ramczyk are the top 2 on their board, and I just went with the more talented one. Wouldn't be surprised to see Bolles here potentially either.

21. Lions- TJ Watt
--First surprise pick maybe? I think the Lions are keeping it somewhat under wraps how much they like Watt.

22. Dolphins- Jordan Willis
--Another surprise pick, potentially. I think the early 20s is when the draft is going to break down and we're going to have a totally unpredictable remainder of the evening. Willis blew up the combine and would pair nicely across from Cam Wake.

23. Giants- Jarrad Davis
--Besides the fact that he is a LB and this is the first round, this is a classic
Giants pick. Davis has reportedly blown people away with his interviews. The Giants don't take first round LBs, but were 100% ready to last year before the Bears took Leonard Floyd one pick before their selection. I feel like I say this every year, but I think this is the year.

24. Raiders- Marlon Humphrey
--Easy pick for the Raiders. Humphrey happens to fall to a CB needy team. Will really help solidify the defense.

25. Texans- Garrett Bolles
--No way the Texans take a 1st round QB with Trubisky, Watson, and Mahomes off the board. Bolles fills a need for them at RT.

26. Seahawks- Forrest Lamp
--I'm not sure this fits the Seahawk's MO with the high emphasis on SPARQ players, but Lamp is a highly versatile and talented OL, which is an extremely huge need for the Seahawks.

27. Chiefs- Tyus Bowser
--This is one of those picks that makes too much sense to me. With Derrick Johnson getting old, Bowser is the heir apparent.

28. Cowboys- Charles Harris
--From all inclinations, this pick would be a slam dunk for the Cowboys. The consensus from sources is all teams expect Harris to be a mid-first round pick and the Cowboys have made no attempts to hide that they favor Harris.

29. Packers- Taco Charlton
--There are a lot of options here for the Packers, including Takk McKinley and David Njoku, but I'm slotting Taco here for the value he presents.

30. Steelers- David Njoku
--Big Ben has reportedly asked for a TE and Njoku makes a lot of sense here. The value Njoku represents as a TE is bigger than what they could get from a TE here with the way the board has fallen. I think Tre'davious White and Jabrill Peppers are definitely considered here as well.

31. Falcons- Takk Mckinley
--It's no secret what the Falcons needs are, so they grab the most talented pass rusher they can get that's left on the board.

32. Saints- Carl Lawson
--Normally 32 is the prime spot to trade into and grab a QB for the 5th year option it gives you later down the line, and in this case it would seem to work perfectly for the Saints who are in need of a QB they could potentially groom as Brees's replacement. I don't think that is the case though. The Saints need a pass rusher and, like the Falcons at 31, grab the best one left on the board.

Feedback is highly appreciated! Like I said, I may have gotten your team needs wrong or missed on some information about who your team has been linked to. I'd love to hear what I missed.

I have heard similar things about the Lions loving Watt. I think that they need a guy like Jarrad Davis more, but from what I'm hearing Watt is definitely on their radar.

Nice heads up on the Lions.

There are disputes amongst beat reporters and draft analysts, about whether he fits their defense. Most reporters say he would have to play DE for them, so he's more of a pass rush specialist. But Lion-based draft analysts think he could play primarily WLB and be a heretofore unheard of blitz presence for the Lions. Detroit fans just don't want him in Green Bay or Dallas.

Ozzie would sprint for Solomon Thomas. Good pick, classic Ravens BPA move there despite DL being a very deep area for us currently.

Based on what I've seen myself and what I hear from draft guys I trust, Watt can absolutely play in a 4-3. He's on the Giants radar as well as a LB.

I don't want the Steelers to pass up a pass rusher like McKinley or Lawson.

LB isn't a big need, so I'm not passing on Allen or Thomas for Foster. And I like Foster.

And there is NO chance Thomas falls that far unless he shoots his momma between now and Thursday.

The Lions need a leader in the middle, which is why I think Jarad Davis may trump Watt but I concur with your assessment of Watt, plus I have heard they really like his attitude and personality.

About the Giants... We don't hate the Giants like we do the packers and the cowboys.

Of course I learned about the "failed" drug test about 2 hours after I posted this. Foster to the Bengals at 9 is definitely a pick I'll change in version 2.

I didn't think so either about Thomas, and by my evaluation he's a top 5 pick. But this is based a lot around what I'm reading in the rumor mill and from draft sources I trust and teams seem to be turned off by Thomas's size. I think its a huge mistake to let him drop as well, but it's what I think will happen, not what I want to happen.

Myth, my comment about the Giants is only because I'm a Giants fan so I know the most about the Giants over any other team. Just relating information I have about Watt.

Good to know about the Steelers need for a pass rusher. I'll keep that in mind, although I think njoku is a good fit there.

CB bigger need than DLine. Conley would be my pick.
BTW - word in Buffalo is that QB won't be s pick. Not worth a first round pick let alone at 10 for a team with much greater needs. None of them know how to run a huddle or take snaps under center.

No very Davis in R1. Not going to happen

I can't decide who I like best between Charles Harris and Takk but I'd be just fine with either. Good pick for Cowboys!

I like Jonathon Allen as a player but we really need CB help, I don't see us passing on Lattimore

The Falcons picking Takk would be a huge win for us come draft day i think. Taco might be the only guy i think has a chance to fall to us i like more than Takk. Prefer both of them over Watt and Harris though who i have as early 2nd round guys while having Taco and Takk as top 25 guys.

Yeah, I figured Wink But we Lion fans don't mind good Michigan or Big 10 players going to NY as much as Green Bay or Dallas. For one thing you do a lot of it and it doesn't make us puke when a player we rooted for in college plays for you guys.

Let me add that it is really tough when a hometown kid or UofM player ends up playing anywhere in the division but there is just something nauseating when they go to Dallas
