no trades allowed we must be picking at 17.
i guess worst case for me would be picking a qb or a OT to replace moses next year which would mean instant fail.
best case is probably........any good defensive player.

Best case in my opinion: Rueben Foster or Malik Hooker
Worst case in my opinion: Reaching for a position of need or drafting a QB/WR.

Best case scenario we fire Bruce Allen.

Worst case we draft a QB round 1.

I'd be happy with Lamp. I imagine Foster will slide due to a failed drug test. Id be thrilled with him!

I would only agree with your worst case if the distribution between offensive and defensive players prior to #17 is 50:50. If it's as bad as some mocks have it (5-6 offensive players vs. 11-10 defensive players), I would be calmer going offense, just because the value would be there. That said, a first round QB, RB, or even a TE (sorry, Jeezy, I'm not on board spending a 1st for Njoku; if he inexplicably falls to the 2nd, then I'm totally there) ... then I'll be mad.

Worst case: Christian McCaffrey

Best case: Lamp, Zach Cunningham
(when I see 4 around the same level at a position, Ill roll with intelligence of a Vandy kid for the future.)

Why is McCaffrey worst case. Don't like him as a player. ? Don't see RB as a need ? Both ? Just curious .

I dont care for his style, and dont see him being as escapable against the speed and tackling ability of the NFL compared to the PAC.

Dont see it as a need. Want to see what a healthy Marshall can do with that speed.

And I dont think he can withstand full seasons without injuries if you want to use him 20 times a game to justify the 1st round pick.
We get 60-70 plays a game. A guy that will likely be used in 10-12 times a game Id guess, and wont show any upgrade over what we got. Is a totally wasted pick for me.

I like Kelly, Marshall, and from the draft, give me Kamaras style of running, or a guy like Mack out of USF.

If you think Jamison crowder needs some competition in camp, McCaffery would be a great pick. If you need a running back, McCaffery is a terrible pick! I think McCaffery is going to be a great football player. I just don't think he is going to be a running back!

He's built like a RB, he has tremendous vision and moves in the open field. He doesn't fumble and he can churn out tough yards. I have no idea what makes him any less of a RB than any other RB in this draft? Not that any of this matters because he's going to be gone before we pick anyway.
