I just don't see any good qb this draft that's worth trading up for, so why would Cleveland trade away valuable picks for an ok guy. I really think they will stay pay and just a qb at 12. If Trubisky is gone they draft Watson or Mahomes. All 3 won't be gone by 12.

I actually think its possible. All it will take to panic CLE is for CHI to take 1 at pick 3 and they could get trigger happy. With BUF possibly taking 1 they may need to jump them to get their guy. They might not like one of the 3 and that would be all it takes.

Just a theory but it could be they don't want a QB at 6. Maybe they want Fournette or one of the Safties or even Lattimore or Allen. Kessler played well when healthy so maybe they roll with him this year and if he fails take a QB next year.

At RB they do have Isaiah Crowell and Duke Johnson but Johnson is basically used as a receiver and Fournette would be an upgrade over Crowell. Looking at their roster they could also use an upgrade at CB, FS, and on the interior DL. With all their picks they might feel it better to get the top guy at one of those positions.

I understand everyone he's reasoning. But the biggest flaw in the argument is this... Why do we want to trade back? To acquire more picks right? Bc we have several holes and even moving back and adding picks we think will help this team bc we aren't a player away from being good. Cleveland is in the exact same situation. Why would they give away pick when they probably have more holes than us. It'd be the smartest for them to keep as many picks as they can if not for them to try and acquire more. Teams that we should even possibly think about trading with thatbare more realistic are teams a player away from being a good team. Desperate teams don't want less draft picks.

Cleveland has a ton of picks in this year's draft and next year's draft. They don't need to stockpile anymore. They can take the best player in the draft in Garrett, and trade up to 6 make sure they get their guy at QB. It would make sense for them in that regard. I would be thrilled if it actually happened.

Both Rich & Bobby have made good points, one of you two are going to be right. That is one of the reasons I hate mock drafts, none of us know what is going to happen on draft day. Like the post one of the members made a couple a days ago "this is going to be a crazy draft". The only thing that is sure is our #6 pick is worth much than a month ago. I don't think at this point Mac knows what he is going to do with the pick till the last minute. And that is the only way to go. Let just hope some other team panics at the last minute and makes us a offer we can't refuse.

Some of you guys (like 2 of you) are absolutely nuts if you think Cleveland will give up a 2018 1st. Laughing

Come on Cabdnam93, it you were a Jet fans as you as us you would be nuts too. This team is enough to drive anybody nuts. BY the way camdyman who is going to be your QB in 2017? The only way you get the #6 pick if we get a date with your wife or girlfriend. Plus your # 1 pick next year.

If I had to guess, Hue really likes Josh Dobbs of Tennessee. I think we trade with the Titans more realistically.

Man there's a couple of late round QBs that are making me feel crazy because I think they're 2nd round prospects and they're projected in like 4-5.

I'll be posting my big board again this year if anyone cares.
