Malik Hooker is my top ranked safety. I really like Jamal Adams who offers a rare football character element and carries a blend of a little bit of everything. Hooker's potential is huge. I'm taking the risk and going with Hooker.

Like many others I'm a bit more worried about Hooker's bust potential, but his ceiling is just ridiculously high. Depending on my needs I'd probably take him over Adams.

Hooker, guys with that skill-set just donít come around too often. Heís a defensive weapon, you just donít get too many of those. Thereís a lot of like about Adams, but heís not a game changing defensive player.

I like hooker.

I like Adams as well but hooker more.

I think Adams does a lot of things well, doesnt really have an elite area in his game IMO. He is just a really, really, good well rounded, safety.

Hooker tho, he has the elite ball hawking skills. He isnt as good of a run defender as Adams but I do see Hookers ability to tackle and play the run improve as he plays more and gets coached up.

I would love the Browns to get hooker but I would be happy with Adams too. I really want the Browns to trade up to try and get one of those two.

I'm going with Adams here.

Hooker.

I care a lot more about what a safety can do in centerfield than what he can do in the box. We've got a lot of guys in the box, and (ideally) one guy in centerfield.

Single-high ability is a premium for safeties like "pass rush acumen" is for DL. You don't need it in a prospect, but it's the single most valuable trait that guy can have.

I agree with the 2nd part but think at the projected cost you have to have that center field ability

I'd say Adams, but Budda Baker reminds me of Bob Sanders. Think he will be a very special player.

I do love me some Tedric Thompson. He's my #5 safety, He'd be the top safety in other years.

I said in another thread that I have a low first/early second grade on him. I think his instincts are second to none.
