3 Round Mock Draft
TRADE: Fournette is slipping and Cincinnati sees the opportunity to get a workhorse running back. They are going to have to leap Carolina to do so.
Cincy Gets: 6th Overall
NYJ Gets: 9th Overall and 73rd Overall
Round 1--9th: OJ Howard, TE, Alabama
We need a game changer on offense, it just so happens one of the top two in this class is a tight end. This is no Kyle Brady.
TRADE: The Jets seize an opportunity to jump Dallas who will be in the market for a pass rusher.
Seattle Gets: 39th Overall and Sheldon Richardson
NYJ Gets: 26th Overall
Analysis: Seattle has drafted incredibly well, which gives them the luxury to trade for a guy like Richardson, who would be a difference maker in that defense. They also have the cap space to afford him.
Round 1--26th: Charles Harris, DE, Missouri
The more and more I watch this guy, the more I see a double digit sack guy (something we have been lacking since John Abraham).
Round 3--70th: Sidney Jones, CB, Washington
The value is there. Let's be real, we aren't SB contenders next year, BPA.
Round 3--73rd: Zay Jones, WR, East Carolina
Not sure he makes it to this spot, but I like his potential and he has the family pedigree.
Round 3--107th: Kendell Beckwith, ILB, LSU
Instinctive thumper of a linebacker that would be a nice long term replacement to David Harris and a nice complement to Darron Lee's game. |

If Zay Jones was there it would be a great value pick but I think some aspect of the O-line has to be addressed by then.
I'd be ecstatic if we came away with those first 3 picks. |

I'd rather see if Charles Harris is there at 39 then trade up for him _________________

Sadly thats probably what he is "worth". Teams over value draft picks these days, and with his off field issues and one year rental, that might be the best we can get for him. |

Typical Jets...the one guy weve hit on outside of Leo in the last 5 years and we have to trade him to move up a couple spots in the draft or for a mid round pick. We are slightly better than the browns. Sad. _________________

Well those 13 spots are = to the value of pick 80 on the chart, so a mid 3rd rounder. Not bad really. Honestly i'd rather trade him for 80 than the move up because i value more picks more than i value higher picks, but it is about the right value. |
