I think in the end the Jets trade with Houston for a big draft day deal.

Jets send pick 6 overall to Houston
for
Houston pick 25 overall and 57 overall in 2017 along with their 1st round pick 2018

Pick 25
J. Peppers. He falls to the jets because most teams don't know what to do with him. He will be a safety and play some linebacker too on dime D.

Pick 39
Desmond King. Starts CB for us day 1

Pick 57
Juju Smith-Schuster. He will start outside WR for the jets. Good size and good hands.

Pick 70
S. Perine. He will be a starting RB by the end of the year.

Pick 107
Pat Elflein. Starting Center day 1

Pick 150
Julien Davenport. He will be the backup T on both sides and send some youth to the O line.

Pick 191
George Kittle. Can block and catch.

Pick 224
Chad Kelly. I think the jets take a drat throw here. He has the chance to be really good if everything falls in place.

What do you think? This would also put the jets with 2 first round picks in 2018.

Desmond isn't a CB in the NFL he's a FS, I'd love this trade down tbh

While it's solid, guys like Elflein and Kittle likely won't around where you have mocked them. Elflein is likely a 2nd, maybe early 3rd guy. Kittle could go as high as round 3 as well.

I like the trade and the positions chosen, but Peppers scares me for the Jets. Some scouts are saying his future in the NFL may even be on offense.

I get why people are into him, but I think the first pick for the Jets has to be a safer bet to start at a position of need. I wouldn't want the Jets to gamble on hybrid or injury guys with that first selection.
