Also I think we will take a lot of guys we never spoke to this draft. Looking at the players we did meet almost none of them are mid round guys.

If i was a GM that would be my move. Host every one i dont want and ignore every one i really want. That is the move.

Why would you tell the world who you want? Specially with as much video is there are on these guys, you dont have to see them anymore.

better than chimp kelly and telegraphing everyone he liked to the point where all 6 guys he wanted went before our pick the year we took smith. Even had teams trading up to take them because they knew.

Gotta love the guys spirit.

McCaffrey is the perfect back for this offense. Dougy Reid is a 60- 70% throw guy, so no back is getting 20 carries on a regular basis. McCaffrey provides big plays from RB, WR and in the return game. I hope he's the guy at 14.

How many white RB's did what he did in college and then showed the athleticism he did at the combine? Like Shannon Sharpe said, if he's a black player he's a top 10 lock all day.

Cause if that was the case he would actually be good.. Laughing

I dont think color matters in football except RB and CB.. Those are not places for white guys.

We cant do it, bless our little white hearts, we are still just as good as any race out there.

How is he going to start offense and return kicks and punts? Think

That never works out.

You don't draft a guy at 14 to use them in the return game. He is too valuable for that imo.

If hes your 1st round pick and your drafting him to be a universal gadget trick all trades back/receiver/special teams guy, your not going to get as much value out of that pick as your thinking, he wont be full time anywhere, so you still have holes at those positions.

I heard some stat on Colin awhile ago, i forget the percentage but a overwhelming amount of injuries happen on special teams and he quoted all these times really good players got hurt covering kicks or returning kicks.

Its a recipe for disaster.

Can someone make an official day 1 draft thread?

I feel like we should have a separate thread for each day of the draft. That way it will be easy to go back and find what people said.

Anyone wanna volunteer to make it (preferably with lots of gifs and maybe some pics of hot girls)?

Same 14+ yards a catch in college. Looks like he could be Ray Rice and BWest's baby if he lives up to his potential.

If we come out of the 1st round with either, Williams, Howard, or Cook i would be pretty happy.

I would be REALLY HAPPY if we got a trade down.

Ill be pissed if we dont take Cohen no matter what. Laughing

Also hope we are looking at-scouted kickers Zane Gonzalez and Jake Elliot, if they are there in the later rounds, i hope we spend a pick on one of them.
