I say we take a 1st round talent RB in Joe Mixon here. Imagine that offensive attack with Dan Feeney shoring up our OL! We finally have a balanced attack with Capt Kirk gunslinging to our stud WRs & Mixon busting loose on a regular basis! We can take DT and DE in 4th round!

Qualls. If we had taken a DL in the 2nd instead of Feeney, then I would take the Jaguars trade. Still, Qualls. Hodges is intriguing. Still, Qualls.

Well I screwed up my vote I said take the Raiders trade but I meant the Jags trade. Two 2nd rounders next year would be nice although our success rate with 2nd round players is about the same rate as the survival rate of The dodo bird!!!

I went with the Jaguars offer. I know the Jags look pretty improved on paper but its the Jags. That 2nd round pick could be in the early to mid 30s in next year's draft. We'd now have 3 picks in this year's 4th round to play with to help out our defense. Qualls could still be there, there's still Montravius Adams and Carlos Watkins available. We will find 3 good players in round 4 this year and have two 2nd round picks next year plus all the comp picks we'll get from losing Jackson, Garcon, and Baker.

Sorry, the website that I'm using for the draft picks updated since I started this so its all in different order now. Made things confusing. I'll change it.

Hate to be that guy, but Caleb Brantley is in there twice as well.

Not so sure we'll get comp picks after signing McClain, McGee and Swearinger to long term deals.

Yeah Im down with this pick even though the hair (not his 340 pounds lol) and the morning beard reminded me of a horrifying morning "after shots" picture of a 4am Vegas "entertainer girl " I pulled. It was a fun few hours though Smile

Would have likely gotten something if we had signed only two of the three. Keep in mind Swearinger is the smallest deal of the three of them, so even if it has just been McClain/McGee and Swearinger, it would have likely netted us more than if the two were McClain and McGee.

But yes, with all three of them, it is almost guaranteed that we will get nothing for letting them walk (to be more honest: slamming the door on them since we didn't bother to negotiate with Garcon or Baker).

Im assuming qualls is the pick? when are we going to start round 4? I know a lot of you dont want him but if Mixon is there at round 4 we gotta have a discussion. 1st round talent all day! let the past go! Hes learned

I agree, this incident happened 3 years ago and the injuries sustained by the woman were that of her falling not becuase of the punch. While its deplorable that he would resort to that, I would have to think there is a level of maturity that occurs while you are in college and considering that he has not had a single incident since this happened.

I would be open if it really happened as well. Funny thing is, I don't think McCloughan would have ever thought about drafting him as he tends to stay clear of players with troubled pasts.

In the 4th, I think he would be on the table. However, I think he should be off the table by the time we pick.

I'll try to get a 4th round up sometime tonight or tomorrow. Pretty slammed at work today. Btw the 4th round is probably the last we will do.

Oh man I really enjoy this thread! You sure you don't want to do all 7? lol I know it's a ton of work though. We have a pretty early 4th so hopefully he is still there! Would be too much talent to pass on

Even if we get qualls if vanderdoes is there with our 2nd 4th I still want to take a long look at him as well!

I did a draft today on fanspeak that I wish I would have saved and posted

Barnett
McMillan
Tanoh K-whatever
Vanderdoes
Elder

Were the first 4 rounds. If tanoh fell to the 3rd I would be extremely happy with that draft! If not corn elder maybe Asiata at guard if he fell

I actually think the opposite. McCloughan took a chance on Galette, several times, Allen seems to always be more straight and narrow.
