Yeah that would suck to have your team draft an elite RB prospect Rolling Eyes

Yeah that would be the worst pick ever. It will set the franchise back at least 5 years.

Which team are we talking about? CAR?

I'm assuming Carolina.

Are either NFLN or ESPN streaming coverage online?

Probably both if your cable subscriber carries them.

Sure it could be seen as an upgrade, but you've got a clearly above-average talent who's young, cheap, and is a 3-down back. How badly do you need that upgrade? As opposed to the upgrades Soloman Thomas, either S, or Forrest Lamp give? And these aren't reaches for needs, I put them as legit top 10 overall talents.

Thomas would be a likely upgrade long-term, but people all throughout this process of horribly downplayed how raw he is. He's not stepping into camp and unseating any current defensive starter on the Chargers. And that's kind of the thing you'd expect from a Top 10 pick.

Entirely fair. But he's still be a better upgrade (and plan B if Melvin Ingram leaves next year too) than McCaffrey.

There's no doubt S is a better fit, though. Or Lamp even if they move back even to 11-12.

Debatable. I'm not a fan of McCaffrey at #7 (and as I've said, I think the reports linking it are full of youknowwhat, especially considering the source), but it's not inconceivable in Lynn's/Whisenhunt's offense for Gordon and McCaffrey to be on the field at the same time. McCaffrey is perfectly capable of playing out of the slot and Rivers loves his underneath receivers and checkdowns.

There are none. #Bears were bidding against themselves on that one. Nobody was trying to move to 2 for Trubisky.

I guess this classifies as a rumor. I will say, bravo to Lynch. Even though I don't believe Thomas/Foster were top 3 players in the draft, credit to him for landing 2 of their top 3 players in the fashion they did. Ultimately, the guy who orchestrated the trades (forget his name) deserves the most credit.

As far as other rumors, the Jets like Davis Webb and will consider taking him. My belief is they just want teams to trade up for the QBs/trade with them

It goes back to my pre-draft evaluation of Trubisky, but if you believe he's your franchise QB than you do what you have to ensure he ends up on your team. And for that, I applaud Ryan Pace and the Bears organization. Only time will tell if that trade and pick was worth it, but I'd rather see a team target their franchise QB and make a move for them than stand by idly hoping that they run into one eventually.

I'm going to start a rumor here, tell all your friends so it becomes a reality.

Bengals swap 2nd round picks with the Jets and trade AJ McCarron for Sheldon Richardson...

If you want Sheldon that bad just hand over your 2nd rounder.

You really think the Jets are getting a 2nd for Sheldon Richardson?

Man, Rapsheet on NFLN saying the Jets are looking to move up to 33 to take a QB. That would be truly horrific.

No it wouldn't.

I want less competition for 2018.
