Assuming we still had the fifth pick and the team structure is the same as it is now, who would you want the Rams to take fifth overall? For me, it's either Jamal Adams, Marshon Lattimore/Marlon Humphrey (was Sidney Jones), Reuben Foster or OJ Howard. Honestly, OJ Howard in this offense would be pretty sweet. Let me hear your thoughts!

This is too sad to consider.

I'd probably take Lattimore if he was there. Trading down would probably be the best idea though for us if we were there.

Either Lattimore, Corey Davis, or trade down for Lamp or Howard

If Rams had 5 that means they wouldn't have a legit starting QB to grow so I'll take Watson but many like the tape and skill set of Trubisky so I'll say the Rams would take Trubisky at 5 assuming he would be there knowing teams would try to trade up above the Rams to get him if the Browns or Niners don't grab him right at the top.

Think Lattimore is the third best prospect in the draft, so him if he's there (which is very doubtful). After the top 3 there's a significant drop in my opinion.

Mahomes is my top QB so that would be an interesting situation, probably would have to take him before 12 so that wouldn't be the worst pick if Goff wasn't on the roster.

I understand we wouldn't have a QB...the point of the exercise is simply if we had the fifth pick with the current roster who would people want.

Lattimore or Adams now that Joyner is moved to FS. I really like Malik Hooker though.

I'd have traded down. If I couldn't, I'd have taken Jamal Adams, Forrest Lamp, or Ryan Ramczyk.

I would want Watson.

Wait, we wouldn't have a QB? I'd want to give up the 5th pick for Goff.

I think a trade down would be a smart move and still take someone like Corey Davis or OJ Howard but I don't wanna think about it. It makes me sad.

You'll get happy in a hurry when you think about the QB options we would have had. Wink

I meant in real life we wouldn't have a QB (because we wouldn't have traded up last year thus still have the fifth), but in this scenario we still have Goff (current roster) but we still have the fifth pick. Just for fun wanted to see who people would have wanted.

Yep, I said it last year we traded up knowing 2017 QB class was very weak. I was all aboard the Goff train and giving up a first this year was worth it....Trubisky, Watson, Kizer and Mahomes don't really excite me in the least bit compared to Goff. I'm excited for big things this year.

If we had the 5th pick and couldn't trade down, I would take that safety from LSU.
