I can see Richard and DWash getting 25 more carries/touches each so I think he only gets 150-175 but big games and playoff time will be special.

I have a hard time believing he's not gonna get quite a few carries per game. Obviously you wanna keep him fresh, but it just seems like he'll get around 16 a game. I'd say he ends up with about 15 carries a game, which is 240 touches for a season. 15 carries is pretty reasonable for lynch IMO.

I agree that barring injury that Lynch could probably handle that load but he doesn't have to. Last year, Mize, Wash, and Richard all had around 250 snaps (263, 241, 236 respectively) while Murray had 525snaps with 195 cars and 43 rec targets. I just saying that with Richard and Wash developing I can see them bumping those #s up to say 265 and 255 snaps with Lynch not breaking 500 snaps and Mize going down a bit.

He'll still be the prime runner but the midgets have earned an expanded role and those snaps have to come from somewhere.

You're right about the numbers, props there. And I like the midgets. But I get the sense that the staff likes Lynch more than murray and will give him more snaps accordingly.

The staff love him as we all do but the offense will be best served using all the tools. Richard and Wash are gonna get theirs and should improve on there #s from last year with more playing time.

http://www.nfl.com/videos/oakland-raiders/0ap3000000802798/Rapoport-on-Lynch-joining-Raiders-It-has-to-be-a-special-moment-for-him

So for 2017 it's a 3M base with 2M for reaching 1000 yards and possibly 3M more (unreported goals).
And 2018 seems to be thrown in there to make the contract look bigger.

What's not true? I don't know if you clicked on the link i posted but it was Rapoport as well.
You obviously can have a 3M base in 2017 and 9M base over 2 years.

it sounds like the base is 4.5M per year, can go up to 8.25M each

edit: i found this one

http://www.silverandblackpride.com/2017/4/26/15444026/report-has-marshawn-lynch-contract-figures-with-raiders-much-bigger-than-originally-reported

Quote:
For both the initial report of his earning in 2017 and Rapoportís report to be accurate, that would mean Lynch would receive twice his 2017 base salary in 2018 should the team pick up his option ó thatís $3 million in 2017 and $6 million in 2018.

It sounds? 4.5 is the average for those 2 years but every report has the base at 3M in the 1st year.

I like the part where Osemele tells him his helmet might stay clean all year. The man looks like a kid when he gets his helmet.

And the Raiders have the option on the 2nd year. So unless he has a great year this year I dont see it being picked up at that price. If he has a decent year they will probably renegotiate if Lynch wants to play a 2nd year here.

It's funny that anyone thought it was gonna be anything other than a Reggie deal.

Reggie sticks to his numbers, man. Cant say I'm mad, we may lose out on a few guys, but we will never be in cap hell like we were before he got here.
