This draft reminds me so much of 2011 but without a Cam Newton. After Cam, the next 11 straight picks had 8 All-Pros and 3 gigantic QB busts.

If we take Trub 1, they better take Haasan Reddick or Derek Barnett af 12. I know Reddick is a LB, but he'd be used how Von Miller was when he was in a 4-3. He'd be a LB in name only.

If we do the unthinkable and draft Trub #1, I bet this clown town regime (they aren't clowns if they make the right picks, but in this scenario right now they're clowns) gets an offensive weapon for their new QBOTF.

Yep, they'll get 2 offensive players in the most loaded defensive draft in years and of course a QB #1 when most say that there's not a quality QB Round 1 prospect this year like there usually is.

Seriously we finally tanked to truly get the BPA and we take the 25th ranked prospect.

2 lower tier QBs I'm somewhat intrigued by: Garrett Fugate out of Central Missouri and Alek Torgersen out of Penn. Suppose to be UDFA's, but I bet they are drafted later rounds.

Also I want some way to get Ben Boulware. I love watching this cat calling the offense before it happens and lining everybody up pre-snap. Speed is a worry but those instincts.

Or we pick Garrett and draft Reddick too? I mean we could get both then use the 2nd to draft DBs. One can dream right?

that is all

Who is the most pro ready QB in this draft not named Deshaun Watson or Nathan Peterman?

You're a really nice person, and you could use a break, so I'll answer this question by saying Deshone Kizer. He's actually the one who came most to mind as pro ready (despite what his bozo coach said). Watson is the Charlie Hough of QBs in this draft Very Happy, but man I can't bet against him either--have a feeling he makes it in the league. I have a feeling Kizer makes it as well--have only seen a tiny bit of Peterman but wasn't impressed by that tidbit. It's all about where we grab these guys if we go QB.

My last trade down mock. The safeties weren't great value after a trade up for Jamal Adams--okay with this--so I grabbed a few guys late I like. Ended up trading 2018 2nd from Houston and 2018 6th to move up. See Solomon possibly falling due to tweener'ness. I want to bulk him up 10-15 and Aaron Donald him. I am not sure if this draft could happen but like how it went. I would probably go Chad Kelly over Evans but fine with Evans to develop there.

01: R1P1 EDGE MYLES GARRETT TEXAS A&M
09: R1P9 SS JAMAL ADAMS LSU
21: R1P21 DT SOLOMON THOMAS STANFORD
57: R2P25 RB ALVIN KAMARA TENNESSEE
109: R4P2 CB GAREON CONLEY OHIO STATE
133: R4P26 TE GERALD EVERETT SOUTH ALABAMA
145: R5P1 QB JEROD EVANS VIRGINIA TECH
146: R5P2 CB HOWARD WILSON HOUSTON
149: R5P5 DT DEMARCUS WALKER FLORIDA STATE
165: R5P21 S RAYSHAWN JENKINS MIAMI
181: R5P37 FS DAVID JONES RICHMOND

How much I love this draft

Fify 😁. I think the above could happen, and I would be #excited. In fact, that would be pretty much my favorite draft on here. A++ without Mixon. Love every pick. You know by now my love for Corey D. I will assume for now that Conley is an extortion deal and would risk it. His energy comes off as the last guy to rape someone, but who knows, of course.

To Gold Gloves Joe, I want absolutely nothing to do with him, and I believe hope our team interest is another smokescreen. I personally get the energy in every interview that I hear with Mixon (including what he said when initially asked about what he learned from the ordeal), as well as that news of the parking ticket deal just as corroborating evidence that he is the guy who flexed on that girl before knocking her out because he is a guy who feels justified knocking a woman out, not the guy who defended himself/responded instinctively etc. If it were me, he'd go undrafted.
