Mock Draft (18.0)
1. Browns: Myles Garrett, DE
Garrett's the obvious choice. D-Line looks in good hands with Shelton/Ogbah/Nassib already there. Garrett should be a pro bowler immediately.
2. 49ers: Solomon Thomas, DE
Panthers don't offer enough so the 49ers stay put and pick up Thomas. D-Line looks something like Thomas/Armstead/Mitchell/Buckner and will be a force for years.
3. Bears: Jamal Adams, SS
Bears also try to trade back but no good offers. Could go Lattimore/Hooker here as well but Adams is ultimately the pick.
4. Jaguars: Leonard Fournette, RB
Leonard seems like the obvious pick at this point. Jags fixed some problems on D during free agency. Fournette could have a Zeke type season, early pro bowler.
5. Titans: Marshon Lattimore, CB
Hearing the Titans love this guy. Lattimore will join Ryan/Cyprien in the DB group to make it looks pretty scary.
6. Jets: Malik Hooker, FS
New York decides not to go QB at this pick even when it's tempting. Hooker is the BPA and the Jets can't afford to take any risks.
7. *Bills: OJ Howard, TE
First trade of the draft! Chargers have all their top targets gone so they trade down. Bills skip over the Panthers and Bengals who apparently like Howard a lot.
8. Panthers: Jonathan Allen, DE
Panthers should pick the best DL/DB here with Leonard gone. Allen will likely play at DE most of the time but can slide inside when needed.
9. Bengals: Reuben Foster, ILB
Bengals could use an ILB even after signing Minter. Foster is a top 3 talent that falls because of the Combine incident.
10. Chargers: Mitchell Trubisky, QB
Big surprise here. Chargers have been talking about adding a young QB, and they trade down and do it at 10.
11. Saints: Derek Barnett, DE
Best defensive player left. Barnett will make this line Jordan/Rankins/Fairley/Barnett, a pretty good young group.
12. *Broncos: Christian McCaffrey, RB
Surprise trade here. Cleveland trades down again, Broncos really want McCaffrey. No way he makes it past PHI/IND/WAS/TB so they throw in a 2nd rounder and 5th next year to move up.
13. Cardinals: Patrick Mahomes, QB
Huge shock here. Cardinals pick a QB for the same reasons the Chargers did. They prefer Mahomes over Watson and Kizer.
14. Eagles: John Ross, WR
Eagles have met with Ross 4 times and want to add speed to this group that now consists of Jeffery/Smith/Ross/Matthews/Agholor.
15. Colts: Garrett Bolles, OT
Colts picked up Simon/Spence/Sheard for defense so they pick the best OL there and keep Luck healthy.
16. Ravens: Mike Williams, WR
The Ravens said they'll pick a WR if it's the BPA and Williams is at this point. Ravens have an awful WR group as it stands now.
17. Redskins: Takk McKinnley, DE
Skins need some better edge rushers. LB's and DB's look pretty solid. Good offseason for them.
18. Titans: Corey Davis, WR
Could be Davis or Njoku. Titans need a WR badly and Davis might be the best in this class.
19. Buccaneers: David Njoku, TE
Bucs don't see any defensive players here or a WR and they can wait on a RB. Njoku is a big weapon and good blocker.
20. Browns: Obi Melifonwu, DB
After trading down they pick up a DB in Obi. Good athlete, can play safety or corner.
21. *Falcons: Taco Charlton, DE
Falcons see Taco falling so they package a few picks to move up with the Lions. He's exactly what they need and the final piece to this defense.
22. Dolphins: Forrest Lamp, OG
Pretty sold on Lamp being the pick. Will slide in at LG for Tunsil moving to LT.
23. Giants: Ryan Ramczyk, OT
NY doesn't pick LB early and Njoku is gone. Ram can start at LT right away.
24. *Browns: Deshaun Watson, QB
Browns are shocked to see Watson still here and throw in one of their 50 2nd rounders they have to move back up from the 2nd round. Garrett/Obi/Watson is a nice haul.
25. Texans: Haason Reddick, OLB
Browns stole Watson a pick before so they pick BPA. Not a big need but it's too early for a OL like Robinson.
26. Seahawks: Kevin King, CB
Pretty sold on this one as well. King will start opposite Sherman. He's a fast riser.
27. Chiefs: Gareon Conley, CB
All the top QB's are gone and they could use a good CB across Peters. Conley falls farther than expected.
28. Cowboys: Jabrill Peppers, SS
Cowboys lost multiple pieces in FA and could use an upgrade at Safety. Peppers can return kicks and plays some LB.
29. Packers: Marlon Humphrey, CB
Packers secondary hurt them last year especially in the NFC Championship game. Humphrey will be the CB1 right away.
30. *Bears: Deshone Kizer, QB
Bears trade back up into the 1st because Saints/49ers/Browns might take him. Not sold on Glennon as the long term answer.
31. Lions: Charles Harris, DE
Lions trade down and still get a great edge rusher. Harris across from Ziggy could be. Watt.
32. Saints: Dalvin Cook, RB
Plenty of CB's available in the second for them to grab. Cook met with AP do they want another RB with Ingram. |

****CHIEFS****
Like a lot. My choice would be Humphrey but Conley is a solid pick. Not sure either one will be there for them at 27. |

Have the Colts swap 15 for 1. Send Dorsett to make it even. Draft Garrett. |

Depending on what we gave up i might be ok for going up to get Taco he is a personal favorite of mine. With that said on your comment about it 21.
*Falcons: Taco Charlton, DE
Falcons see Taco falling so they package a few picks to move up with the Lions. He's exactly what they need and the final piece to this defense.
He would be far from the final piece of the puzzle as we still need a upgrade at FS, another OLB, and some depth across the board except for CB probably. _________________

while I am warming to Allen... Panthers did not meet with him and the panthers do not pick players they have not met with. _________________ Carolina Panthers

No way Bills trade up. Only have 6 picks, TE, not a need, deep draft, traditionally draft on the side of the ball of their new coach, need DBs and LBs more than a TE |

As much as I like the Foster pick I really think Barnett is the guy if he's available. _________________ 2017 Draft Needs: Interior O-line, Pass Rushing DE, Linebacker, Kicker, Overall Team Speed. |

"All the top QBs are gone" except Kizer. Or the top CB, Humphrey. Cook is an option. The pick, whenever he's still available, is Cunningham.
