I thought Moore was going to be a Raider for a looong time. He showed flashes of brilliance. Im extremely surprised he didn't pan out.

I added everyones draft picks in Madden and up to date Free Agency. Simmed our current schedule and we went 11-5 and lost to Kansas City in the AFC Championship game. We had the number two seed and beat Pittsburgh in the divisional round. New England was the #1 seed at 13-3 and lost to #5 seed 11-5 Chiefs. Seattle defeated Carolina in the NFC Championship. Seattle defeated Kansas City in the Super Bowl 16-14 in a defensive battle.

Was really bored...

I'm cool with pretty much because we have Tice + Carrs release. Newhouse is capable of holding it down

Well, if this is correct then the coaches don't agree with you. At least at this point.

http://www.mercurynews.com/2017/05/15/report-aldon-smith-not-actually-nearing-nfl-return/

Quote:
“Sources close to Aldon Smith said the former Raiders and 49ers linebacker is nowhere close to reinstatement to the NFL,” Cole reported, “despite claims by Smith that he would return soon.”

No surprise.

He won't play another game for the Raiders. Likely the NFL. Shame too, all the talent in the world. Mental issues that can't be helped.

I mean, it is Jason Cole. He's one of the worst reporters in terms of sources in the NFL.

I don't deny that he has "sources", but they may not be reliable.

If Aldon Smith isn't reinstated by the first day of training camp, just cut him. Would be clear the NFL doesn't want him back in the league at that point.

Why? Still costing us nothing to have him on the roster. In affect we'd be cutting him just cuz someone doesn't like looking at him on the Susp list.

Can someone/should I make a "Raiders offense" thread? We have a defense one and I feel like there's some good discussion to be had offensively.
