An extension that had to be done, good for Atlanta keeping around it's best defensive player while they try to swallow the shame that team will have for decades to come.

Vic Beasley or Matt Ryan is up next I think

Long live Phillip Rivers and his constant carrying of this god awful team.

Also go (South Carolina) Charleston Dingoes. Looking for a co-owner for a fantasy team so PM me please.

Speaking of Ryan, what will his extension look like? Also, how much has he made thus far?

http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/atlanta-falcons/matt-ryan-3983/

His last contract paid him an average of 20 million but he still has 2 years left on his deal but he'll get extended in training camp more likely than not.

I'd imagine his contract will be in the range of 22+ Million if not resetting the QB market since Andrew Luck got 25 million and Matt Ryan could easily get 30 million if he wanted to coming off a super bowl appearance.

yeah I think he resets the market, unless he's gonna be team friendly.

Actually up next is more than likely Freeman as Dimitroff said him and trufants contracts are ones he wants done by training camp in a interview about 3 weeks ago or so.

I wouldn't put Rhodes on a list of 'top corners'.

Hes been inconsistent throughout his career however based solely on last season Rhodes is a "top corner".

Malcolm Butler, Trumaine Johnson, and Vontae Davis are all UFAs after next season.

Richard Sherman and Jason Verrett the year after...

Beasley needs to show more as a player if he wants to get 20 mil per year, or at least miller money.

Um what? Last season, Rhodes was arguably the best CB statistically. He almost always shuts down big name receivers like he did with OBJ last year. There is almost no argument for saying he is NOT a top CB.
