That would be an assumption at this point. I don't think Teddy will be ready to start the season, but if there is an injury mid-season I wouldn't rule out the possibility that he could be the one to step in.

That's what I'm thinking too. Sam has a bad history of knee injuries, isn't very mobile and plays behind a bad-average (at best) offensive line.

If Teddy can come back healthy and ready, there's no need to sit him behind Keenum or Heinicke.

Hmm.

It seems like any medical condition can happen. Wink

To be fair, average NFL QB is a level unreached by a Vikings QB for any duration since probably Tarkenton. Depending on what duration you are looking for you might only be able to go back the few good years Culpepper had with the team.

This is another question I was going to ask in this thread.

Where would you put Bradford (and Bridgewater, if he's healthy) among the Vikings QBs since 1990? It's important to factor in age, number of years, etc. Along with that, what's his ceiling?

Hard to tell where to put them because of the different offenses we've seen over the past few years. Honestly they both have a ceiling to be the best QB we have had in that timeframe

I think the discussion is idiotic. Anyone who participates is a moron.

Let me get this straight...
Those who engage in the quandry of qualitative or quantitative aspects of quarterbacks are quacks.

Am I right or am I quacking up the wrong tree?

It becomes quite a quagmire when both qualified and unqualified fans begin quibbling over the quality of the quarterbacking corps. It's why I quickly and quietly quit the quixotic quest a long time ago.
