Sure sounds like the Raiders have all the votes they need today to move to Las Vegas. Get used to...the Las Vegas Raiders.

Vote was 31-1. Miami only vote for no.

I think the plan is to play in Oakland for both 2017 and 2018 because they hold one year options. 2019 is unknown at this point (vegas stadium won't be ready until 2020)

Beat more money out of a city that probably desperately needs that revenue for ACTUAL services to build a gaudy stadium to host a team that won't draw consistently if they start to suck again.

Great plan! (In case you can't tell I think the NFL's long term outlook is fairly bleak)

i feel bad for the fans in Oakland, as a Raider fan in Los Angeles, I preferred for them to stay put, but this was Mark's only move. He didn't have enough capital to fund a stadium on his own or put up enough of a portion that would make sense for the city, and the city couldn't justify doling out that much cash when the city is broke. Unfortunate, but I am glad we will have a new stadium and wont be playing on a baseball field much longer.

Feel for Oakland fans, just when the team is getting good again. Hope they win it all before the year leave.

I almost want us to suck for a year just to see how [inappropriate/removed] our ticket sales our from the vegas fans.

I just feel bad for all the loyal fans who bought tickets and supported the hell out of the team in the down years. This is their reward.

I don't like this necessarily BUT I can't view it in the same vein as the Kroenke / Spanos decisions.

Davis has less capital at his disposal, the other owners clearly wanted the Raiders in Vegas, Oakland wasn't willing to work with the NFL (not that they should, just that they didn't).
