Didn't realize that we had signed Jon Toth as a udfa. I saw he is on our rookie minicamp roster.

I was going to mention this. I never knew we were bringing him in. HUGE fan of this signing. Would love to see him learn from Sullivan as a rookie and then take over.

First of all, I was the one who said the Rams would be using more analytics from here on out because the scout I spoke with told me.

Do you post on Rams reddit? Because that's where I think I saw it mentioned. I rarely read this forum now a days

Interesting. I know he was recovering from an injury (torn ACL, maybe?). Could factor into the slot if he gets healthy.

It sounds like Kromer's guy is Jake Eldrenkamp. Obviously, that won't mean anything once everybody hits the field, but he's likely got a leg up on the other rookies.

EDIT: I just realized that we have Chris Watt trying out in Camp. He started for the Chargers a couple years ago and was highly regarded out of Notre Dame. The Chargers cut him because of knee issues. We'll see if he's recovered enough to earn a job.

Am I crazy to think Tavon could produce like Brandin Cooks now that he is with a better offensive minded coach??

Yes, because Cooks has actual WR skills and abilities. Tavon is just fast.

Very crazy. Cooks is simply more athletic and talented.

Very simple analytic breakdown on the Rams draft...

Focuses on some of the points I mentioned before.

My question is if the roles were reversed and Cooks was on the Rams with Fisher, Boras, Cignetti as the playcallers of the offense and guys like Clemens, Hill, Davis, and Keemun as the starting QBs for most of his tenure how would he be? Then picture Tavon with Brees as his QB with Payton calling the plays on offense? Personally I think we would say Cooks wouldnt measure up to Tavon production. I think it's the classic case of Cooks in the right situation and Tavon in the wrong situation. This year I finally feel Tavon will be in a great situation with McVay being a creative offensive minded coach and as Goff develops with guys like Woods, Kupp, Everett, and Higbee being potentially consistently productive in the offense, Tavon will no longer be the main focus on offense to just stop outside of Gurley.

Yep. They wrote up on article on it. I expect he's making the 53.
