Come on people, the draft is a month away and there's hardly any discussion in this thread on it. Just mock drafts every month or so by the same people. (Not that I don't enjoy reading them)

Who are some guys we all hope the Rams get? My guy from day 1 of the college football season has been Evan Engram. I also have built somewhat of a man crush on JuJu over the past few weeks.

Rams UDFA signings:
Jared Collins CB, Arkansas
Aarion Penton CB, Mizzou

Huge Gator fan so I would love if Q would fall to us in the 2nd. I think he's pretty similar to Tru with the size he has. Other than him I hope we grab Toth or Elflein to man the C spot and solidify our OL.

I'll spark a conversation.

Mike Williams isn't a first round talent. For very similar reasons Lequon Treadwell wasn't a first round talent.

I disagree. Although I do think both were/are overhyped. I see them still as top 25 talents. But thats because I do like big WRs with strong hands.

Same here. I didn't see many Clemson games but that Natty was super. Dude caught everything. He made some big boy catches on a national stage. I guess that's why he's over hyped.

On another note I think a big WR is what we're missing. We need that big WR that can just win a jump ball when we need it. We have a bunch of smaller WR's. Higbee can be that guy but I'd still like to have a wideout taller than 6-1

Yeah, I think Williams isn't Top 15 or even Top 20, but he's your standard-fare bottom-of-the-1st-round type WR; OJ Howard is more athletic than Williams is. The Top 10 hype is out of control - he's not nearly uber-athletic enough to compensate for the fact that his route-running is still very much a work in progress (he rounds more routes than he runs crisply by a wide margin) and his hands leave a little something to be desired. I think people are trying to sell him hard as Nuk Hopkins and he's not Nuk.

The one Nuk-like quality he does have is an ability to make QB's who struggle with accuracy look better than they are. It's why I think he's a good pairing for a young QB still working through his development (especially a chucker or gunslinger type), but he'll frustrate the hell out of veteran QB's, especially those running offenses with reliance timing-based routes.

Anyways, since I don't have time to watch every draftable WR this year (or nearly every WR), I'm not going to put out a ranking. Instead, I'll just give a list of guys who I watched that I would pound the table for my team to draft. This list excludes the first round WRs (Williams, Davis, and Ross).
1. Zay Jones WR East Carolina
2. Chris Godwin WR Penn State
3. Josh Reynolds WR Texas A&M
4. Juju Smith WR Southern Cal
5. K.D. Cannon WR Baylor
6. Cooper Kupp WR Eastern Washington

That list is in no order. Ishmael Zamora will likely join this list after his Pro Day.

There are also guys that I'd pound the table for if I needed a slot WR:
1. Ryan Switzer WR North Carolina
2. Cooper Kupp WR Eastern Washington
3. Taywan Taylor WR Western Kentucky

Give me one or two of the WRs from above.

Here are guys I like at other positions:
Edge Rushers
T.J. Watt OLB Wisconsin (LOVE)
Jordan Willis OLB Kansas State
Avery Moss OLB Youngstown State
Haason Reddick OLB Temple
Tyus Bowser OLB Houston

ILBs
Vince Biegel ILB/OLB Wisconsin
Blair Brown ILB Ohio
Ryan Anderson ILB Alabama

CBs
Jourdan Lewis CB Michigan (LOVE)
Gareon Conley CB Ohio State (LOVE)
Ahkello Witherspoon CB Colorado (LOVE)
Joshua Holsey CB Auburn
Howard Wilson CB Houston
Sidney Jones III CB Washington

DLs
Eddie Vanderdoes NT/DE UCLA
Dalvin Tomlinson NT/DE Alabama
Ryan Glasgow NT/DE Michigan
Joey Ivie DE Florida

OLs
Forrest Lamp C/OG Western Kentucky (LOVE)
Dan Feeney C/OG Indiana
Chase Roullier C/OG Wyoming
Dion Dawkins OT/OG/C Temple
Jon Toth C Kentucky
Julie'n Davenport OT Bucknell

TEs
Evan Engram WR/TE Ole Miss
David Njoku TE Miami
George Kittle TE Iowa
Jake Butt TE Michigan
Jeremy Sprinkle TE Arkansas
Jonnu Smith TE FIU

I'll add more players as I find more players that I like.

My #1 choice for #37 is Evan Engram, but would also be happy with JuJu Schuster or Zay Jones in the 2nd.

Hoping to land a Safety or Center in the 3rd.

I also like Adam Shaheen. He's a small school guy but can really run and is a huge target.

What does everyone think of Connor Harris, the LB from Lindenwood? Can't find much video on him but I like what I've read.

Any QBs worth snagging up later in the draft? I like what I saw when I watched Peterman, but honestly I haven't really watched much on DB or YouTube at all this year.

Been watching interviews of DeDe Westbrook, he doesn't seem to have any loose marbles like people are saying. I know it's hard to tell just by watching random interviews, but a lot of times you can see something's off. Would you be upset if we used a 3rd or 4th on him?

I would take him day 3. Hes very talented. Not just his speed, but has solid hands and runs good routes.

Connor Harris is the definition of replacement level. Pass.
DeDe Westbrook is very underwhelming. People comparing him to DeSean Jackson are nuts. Wouldn't touch him.

I would love to get Evan Engram in the 2nd then Smith-Schuster in the 3rd for my ideal draft!

I think we focus a lot on offense in this upcoming draft and here's a list of guys I really like who could be available for us.

WR/TE: Evan Engram, Zay Jones, Cooper Kupp, David Njoku, Chris Godwin, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Carlos Henderson, and Josh Malone.

OL: Dan Feeney, Ethan Pocic, Pat Elflein, Isaac Asiata, JJ Deilman

LB: TJ Watt, Takkarist McKinley, Ryan Anderson, Alex Anzalone, Vince Biegel, Connor Harris, Kendall Beckwith

CB: Tez Tabor, Quincy Wilson, TreDavious White, Fabian Moreau, Ahkello Witherspoon, Desmond King, Corn Elder
