Curious if he was cheaper than Schwenke. If not, you have to wonder why they let him go.

Is this the second-tier of free agency everyone wanted? 😂

I think Schwenke also left because he had a better chance to start in Indy.

Really like this signing (barring some crazy overpayment). Strong run blocker(based of PFF fwiw), who can play multiple positions on the line. Can't ask for much more in a backup lineman, specifically for this team.

Hopefully this means we won't use any of our draft picks on the OL.

Good signing. Needed a player that could handle all three interior spots if someone goes down. No complaints.

our OL was a strength last year. I just don't know why Robinson is focusing on areas where we don't need help.

We lost Schwenke and Warmack, really needed someone that could serve as a backup at a couple spots.

Obviously the lack of WR and CB is still frustrating, but I've learned this offseason that beggars can't be choosers. Laughing

Is it necessary that the chronological order in which you add players directly correlate to the priority of needs on your team?

We added two players to our secondary, although one is likely going to spend a lot of time in Sean Spence's role, and have 4 picks in the top 100. Probably not going to go from worst to first in one offseason anyhow. Wait until we're three games in with Sims starting and then worry.

This draft is stacked with interior OL who can play multiple positions. We could have used one of our first round picks on one, rather than pay a journey man who doesn't fit into Grimm's scheme

Major head scratcher here

Sounds like he is an upgrade over Schwenke. I like it.

Solid signing in my opinion. Very versatile and reading around the web Saints fan opinions and how he graded out I like it.
