Each year I pick one player that I really like and then I try to follow them to see how they become. My most notable are Chris Jones, Preston Smith and Aaron Lynch.

This years favorite prospect is Derek Rivers. I feel that his burst and flexibility will turn him to really good pass rusher.

I want you to follow his career in the Green and Gold as a second round draft pick.

That is my hope however I come to expect the player I always like gets picked before the Packers. Doubt this year will be different as Rivers is probably going to fall around 40-55 in the draft. Would love to know where he falls on the Packers board lol 😂

Comp for Humphrey?

CBS has DRC, but I'm not sure I'm seeing it. Looks like a stiffer Woodson than me. Woodson was silky smooth, but Humphrey plays with the same physicality and speed. He doesn't have Woodson's eye for the football, but I don't think many do. D.Sanders, R.Woodson, E.Reed... I know I'm leaving some recent-era off but it's a short list.

Cadmus, Justo, etc... anybody wanna comp these guys for us? (just grabbed a list from fanspeak since CBS is down and nfldraftscout doesn't allow copy/paste)

5 CB MARSHON LATTIMORE - OHIO STATE
15 CB GAREON CONLEY - OHIO STATE
19 CB MARLON HUMPHREY - ALABAMA
35 CB QUINCY WILSON - FLORIDA
40 CB KEVIN KING - WASHINGTON
45 CB CORDREA TANKERSLEY - CLEMSON
49 CB CHIDOBE AWUZIE - COLORADO
57 CB TRE'DAVIOUS WHITE - LSU
60 CB ADOREE' JACKSON - USC
69 CB FABIAN MOREAU - UCLA
71 CB AHKELLO WITHERSPOON - COLORADO
96 CB RASUL DOUGLAS - WEST VIRGINIA
102 CB CAMERON SUTTON - TENNESSEE
103 CB DAMONTAE KAZEE - SAN DIEGO STATE
110 CB SIDNEY JONES - WASHINGTON
122 CB TEEZ TABOR - FLORIDA
133 CB CORN ELDER - MIAMI
135 CB MARQUEZ WHITE - FLORIDA STATE
139 CB JOURDAN LEWIS - MICHIGAN
162 CB HOWARD WILSON - HOUSTON
166 CB JEREMY CUTRER - MIDDLE TENNESSEE
176 CB JALEN MYRICK - MINNESOTA
188 CB BRENDAN LANGLEY - LAMAR

Packer fans: vote for Zach Cunningham to the Chiefs. vote early and often
NFL Draft thread

I wanna have TJ Watt still on the board when GB is on the clock just so I can see how the voting shakes out for the Packers

Comp for Humphrey?

The one that I come back to is 2015 Davon House. DRC plays the ball better. But Humphrey has plenty of speed, long arms and is physical. Hips aren't the best, but they are good enough. More of an outside/press corner corner than an inside slot corner.

I think Humphrey is a better athlete, though. But I think that their games are very similar.

Love to see him in a GB uniform. With some coaching, that kid could be simply amazing.

I haven't seen him too much in the pros, but Jimmy Smith of the Ravens, I think, is another good comp for him. Same kind of athlete.

You are aware that completely defeats the point of this exercise.

I hate when people do that. I hope all the other team fans vote when the packers pick to skew the info to balance it out.

I'd actually be more interested to see the results if Watt is off the table though. How scared should I be of us taking Peppers?

The rules of the mock draft poll as laid out by goldfishwars is to vote as you would vote, not what you think the team should do

As a Packers fan, I would vote for the Chiefs to take Zach Cunningham
Not sure how or why that's a problem.

I'd think most Packer fans would vote the same way, pushing other more packer-centric players down the list.

Not a huge comps guy, but I'll give it a shot after I get a chance to look at my notes tonight (I often scribble down comps that I later forget Laughing).

DRC? Really? Why...

I'm not a comp guy unless one hits me I won't force it. But that seems awful.

Seems like you are trying to rig it so your guy is there.

Yeah, I voted for Watt to KC since I think he'll be a better ILB in the NFL than Cunningham (You'll start Watt on the outside then move him inside in a year or two, most likely.) That I don't really want Watt is just a bonus.

It's not a contest to get the best player though. It's supposed to be "accurate". Not give everyone else who we wouldn't want.

I don't like Humphrey as is playing man at the LOS. He looks better in zone right now. He looks more comfortable when he can sort of see it coming at him. So probably not House for me but I have nothing better or zero recollection of his college tape.
