Didn't you get the memo?

We are stuck with Schum for the next decade.

Sorry Norm.

I'm going to rant and rave every year after we don't win the SB and claim it isn't Ted, or FAs, or draft, or Mike or Capers. It's all Schum's fault.

I can make just as good of a case, probably.

Makes sense to me.

Can't win a SB with a shankapotomus on the roster.

Here is a google sheets workbook that has the 2017 NFL combine numbers for the majority of players.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1I-BkL8LxYqnX48zItHaGXxJNJ1woFG0jzKuf5GOIJm4/edit#gid=774953631

I can add in missing tests from Pro days as they become available. if anyone has them, feel free to post them and I can add them in.

The green highlight are indicators that those times at at/below the TT cutoffs from previous draft prospects (roughly). Yellow indicates that they are close and could get improve enough at their respective pro day.

How did you manage to screw up the URL tags so badly?

While there is no way we don't add a CB in the draft, I think EDGE is the better way to go.
I just think there's higher chance of Randall/Rollins bouncing back from sophomore slump than a rookie CB (1st rounder or not) making an instant impact. Not everyone is a Marcus Peters after all.
Gambling on Randall/Rollins to bounce back, at least one of the two, is much more safe than hitting on a draft pick at CB.
A EDGE I think has higher chance of making a bigger impact on his rookie year than a CB so unless the BPA is CB, I hope we go with EDGE (but of course, someone worthy).

For whatever reason, FF didn't post the links/content of the initial post. Hard to edit when you can't see the results.

A CB in round 1 or 2 makes a lot of sense to me. A couple of injuries last year exposed the Packers secondary, but a legitimate question also is how much of that problem was a direct result of the lack of QB pressures later in the year. I think we will see Edge and CB in the first 2 rounds (in either order) and I believe you can take that to the bank.
