Also it doesnt take a rocket scientist to know he loves Oakland

Perhaps something to help keep the team in Oakland?

The Raiders signing Lynch would have zero impact on this.

Love Marshawns instinctive running style.

So...Oakland is going to potentially trade draft capital to Seattle for a 31 year old running back that has been out of football for a year? Unless it's for a 6th rounder...don't see this happening.

It wouldn't even be a 6th, it would be a 7th. Anything more than that and Seattle is either being petty, greedy, or both.

I don't think it's a good idea. All of these backs who have made a bunch of money, and in his case won a ring, why put more stress on your body? I'd want to be able to walk at fifty and sixty.

What if this begins a new trend for veteran RBs? Take a year off from getting hit, get your body back completely healthy, stay in shape. And then come back

Has Lynch had concussion issues?

Maybe not issues, but he's been running since HS right? His style of running is incredibly physical, the dudes undoubtedly had numerous concussions regardless of whether or not he showed symptoms or kept playing. Smaller repeated subconcussive hits are being found to be just as dangerous as the big knockout hits.

I don't care what he does if he loves the game or just loves the money he should do what's right for him. Just pointing out that taking a year off doesn't help your brain, and just because he hasn't had concussion issues doesn't mean he hasn't damaged his brain.

It's a good thing too. While he's beating his head against a wall he can't be beating his kids.

Heard that the Raiders don't want to give up a draft pick, and Marshawn hasn't asked to be released yet, so for now, I don't think the comeback is likely.

It would be pretty nice if we got a late round pick basically out of nowhere though.

The Raiders wouldn't trade anything for Lynch because the Seahawks can't keep him and his 9m contract.
