The #Giants and star pass-rusher Jason Pierre-Paul have agreed to terms on a multi-year contract, source said. Huge.

Quite the expensive tandem of DE's. They better earn it. Happy to have him back though

He's refuting the report that he SIGNED anything. He hasn't signed a contract. But they have agreed to terms. Semantics. But still, wtf JPP

It's official now and looks to be a good deal. 4yr/$62mil with $40mil guaranteed. I'm sure the base salary is backloaded so I'm guessing is 2017 cap hit will be around $12.5mil so we free up a good amount of space with this deal. Jordan Raanan is estimating around $8mil cap hit this year so we could have even more space.

This had to get done for us to round out the roster. Seems like a great deal and gives us a great line for years to come, regardless of who is inside next to Snacks.

Just 2 years ago we were starting Robert Ayers and George Selvie at defensive end. Now we've got 2 young stars locked up for the next 4 years.

I'm ecstatic to have this guy locked up long term. I always appreciated his talent, but to be honest with you guys, I didn't have much affection for him his first couple years. I respected his ability as a player, but he seemed a bit immature and not that intelligent. Seems the firework accident humbled him a ton. Seems he used that incident as an opportunity to look inward and become a better man. Ever since it happened, he's carried himself in a much more humble and respectable manner. He worked his but off to get back where he is from an unprecedented injury. Through it all, he's become a leader. The rest of the team respects him not only for his talent, but because of who he his as a man and what he's had to battle through. As a person, that makes me happy to see. Further, as a fan, it makes me happy to have him back on the team. Hopefully he keeps up his hard work and eventually retires a Giant and perhaps a ring like Strahan did.
