Ian Rapoport‏Verified account @RapSheet
The #Giants and star pass-rusher Jason Pierre-Paul have agreed to terms on a multi-year contract, source said. Huge.

Really gotta hand it to them. This was a good move.

EDIT:

Schefter confirmation:

Adam Schefter‏Verified account @AdamSchefter
Jason Pierre-Paul signed a four-year deal that @JordanRaanan reports will pay him $62 million, including $40 million guaranteed.

Hell yeah. Super glad this got done.

Mike Garofalo says the numbers that sportscenter tweeted out aren't correct, so we are still waiting to here what the deal is. All along, I thought it'd be 4 years at an average of 15 per year. I got the years right so let's so the money.

That is some properly poor grammar in that first tweet.

That was my impression. He seems credible enough to me, but my memory isn't perfect. This tweet set him back quite a bit though.

I believe his tweet said they agreed to terms not that they signed.

True, and now it's being confirmed elsewhere, so maybe we jumped the gun knocking Rapoport.

4 years, $62 million, with $40 million guaranteed.

Giants now have $92.5 million in guaranteed money tied up in their starting DEs through 2020.

Guy didn't even sniff Rodgers when he went up against Bahktiari and Bulaga. Vernon was even worse and he got 2 cracks at it. Giants paying elite level money to a couple of good pass rushers.
