I don't know much about Rivers, but a trade down would be great. Some posters here seem to like Budda more than I do. Would like to see who else would be available at that pick. But do like the rest. Certainly fills a lot of needs.

That Carolina trade is just not very realistic imo. I don't think they would give up two 2nds for a late 1st.

As far as the picks, I would like this draft a lot.

Would be great but don't think that trade would work and don't think Baker or Fabian last to either of them spots. Fabian would have to be taken at 28 imo. He's gonna go top 40 watch.

Did a simulation for fun. No trades. I'd be pretty damn happy if the draft turned out this way.

Totally unrealistic but the trade downs were just too good to pass up. Plus I got everything on my christmas list. Except for Monty Adams that I missed and had to select Darboh instead. But if we couldn't turn our defense around with this draft. We don't deserve to be a team.

Round 1 Pick 30 (PITT): Marlon Humphrey, CB, Alabama
Round 2 Pick 1 (CLE): Tarell Basham, DE/OLB, Ohio
Round 2 Pick 22 (MIA): T.J. Watt, OLB, Wisconsin
Round 3 Pick 6 (NYJ): Antonio Garcia, OT, Troy
Round 3 Pick 9 (CINN): Ahkello Witherspoon, CB, Colorado
Round 3 Pick 19 (TENN): Marcus Williams, FS, Utah
Round 3 Pick 25 (HOU): Amara Darboh, WR, Michigan
Round 3 Pick 43 (NYJ): D'Onta Foreman, RB, Texas
Round 4 Pick 26: George Kittle, TE, Iowa
Round 4 Pick 29 (ATL): Vince Biegel, OLB, Wisconsin
Round 5 Pick 6 (NYJ): D.J. Jones, DT, Ole Miss
Round 5 Pick 30 (ATL): Aviante Collins, OG, TCU
Round 6 Pick 27: Nathan Gerry, SS, Nebraska
Round 7 Pick 10: KD Cannon, WR, Baylor
Round 7 Pick 28: Cole Hikutini, TE, Louisville Very Happy

OK Cal, mocks like this will only lead to people "jumping off building/bridges/

and other similar related acts, when our real draft comes rolling around.

One man's DREAM draft, is another man's nightmare! Shocked Wink

Honestly guys why waste time posting these mocks with like 10 trade downs giving us 15 picks? It's not realistic. I mean sure it's fun but why post them?

tell you what, the speed of this defense would certainly go up a notch, and speed kills. Also love the fact that you can fill up this draft with good CBs/DBs WITHOUT having to draft them early!

A grade of 'A' IMO. Substitute a QB (best available vs RB in rd 6 and you get a A+

In case you may wonder why, I'd rather have a young prospect at QB over a veteran backup at a higher salary that somehow (based on history) ends up sucking for us anyhow.....OVER..... a talented RB, that may not even make the roster (see last draft etc..)

Any DB Dallas takes in the first round is a BUST!!!! A wasted pick.

Roy Williams 1st round S BUST- After Woodson retired he was exposed and sucked.

Mike Jenkins 1st round CB BUST- Couldn't stay healthy and didn't play well when he did.

Mo Claiborne 1st round (Plus a trade up) BUST - Again, couldn't stay healthy and last year was his only productive year, hardly worth what we paid for him.

Byron Jones 1st round S -Jury is still out, but when you give 34 yards with the game on the line on 3rd and long in a playoff game at home when your offense just fought alllll the way back to tie it, I'm leaning towards BUST.

You see, without a pass rush, ANYONE you take to help this secondary will BUST.

Just like the offense, you fix the trenches and talented skill position players will shine, even as rookies (see Prescott, Elliott)

You fix our D line and the DB's you draft next year will shine. You go the other way and we will have another BUST.
