I hate the packers sub on there because every other post is just a picture of someone in their jersey or one of their dog.

I just want to talk football. Not look at pics of a bunch of goobers.

lol that too. I started to get numb to that though I think. I don't get why they love that trash so much.

There was a time where like half of it was about Olivia Munn too. I used to post she was ugly in every one of the threads about her just to see them rage.

My best guess is age and level of effort. You won't find many casual fans on a message board like this or Packerrats. But you get the casual fans on reddit (since it's used for so many other things) that do nothing but post pics of their babies in packers stuff and ask why Donald Driver isn't in the game.

Reddit also brings a younger crowd (I think) that'll just pile on top of the low effort "Here is a pic of me in Packers gear. Upvotes now."

Cool story on House and how he has embraced the role of leader in the CB room

"Davon House has gone the extra mile for Packers this offseason"

"Whitt, who coached House during his first four NFL seasons, has been blown away by how seriously House has taken his role in the room. Many players wouldn’t feel such a strong sense of duty considering only one cornerback (Demetri Goodson) remains from House’s first run in Green Bay.

In all of Whitt’s years of coaching, he can’t recall another player who has called him to strictly talk about how he can help the other cornerbacks on the roster, not himself."

“He’s gone as far as any leader has gone in the room,” Whitt said. “He knows this is an important year not only for the Packers, but for him as well. I’ve been pleased and it’s real.
It’s not anything he’s trying to put on (with) a false leadership role. It is genuine and it is real.”

As soon as House signs that extension I'm buying a jersey.

IMHO, Adams and House are the most likely candidates for in-season extensions.

Linsley could be another option, but I don't think Thompson will pay more than 5 Million AAV for a Center. I think Linsley plays out his rookie contract and then turns to FA to see what he can command.

I still have mine from his 1st stint here, is he still #31.
Loved the name and Woodson just left so needed a new one.
