This is a very good move. Gives Oakland yet another weapon. If they can land one of the better RB's in the draft that offense is scary good.

RT > RB

Hoping Reggie can draft a young talented RT that's a mauler in the run game and won't be a liability in the pass game. If RT-Austin Howard or LT/RT-Marshall Newhouse are competing for the starting RT position, QB-Derek Carr will be running for his life. RT is more of a priority than a RB when we already have RB-DeAndre Washington, RB-Jalen Richard, FB-Jamize Olawale, and even WR-Cordarrelle Patterson who can line up in the backfield for a few plays. Draft a RT that's a mauler in the run game that's also not a liability in the pass game early in the 2017 NFL Draft and draft a bruising RB to compliment RB-DeAndre Washington and RB-Jalen Richard late in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Honestly, I would rather use that money and pay a little extra for a guy like NT-Bennie Logan than on a TE when the 2017 NFL Draft will be a loaded TE class. SS/FS-Karl Joseph, SLB-Bruce Irvin, andd LDE-Khalil Mack need help on defense. NT-Dan Williams was overweight and was constantly getting pushed around in the run game when he doesn't offer anything else.

Do the playoffs not count? He was also injured early in the season and missed games. But sure, why watch players play when you can just check the stat sheet after. Rolling Eyes

After missing a good chunk of the year via injury.

Nevermind that our offense got a big boost ever since he came back.

He'll do just fine in Oakland.

Lol the Oregon guy.

When does a former player almost unanimously get praise from former teams fans when a player leaves? Hardly ever. They like it for the Raiders more than Raider fans themselves. He will probably do more than the stat sheet shows. Carr has never had anything decent at TE. I'm excited to see what this does for our offense.
