Luckily we have new management that hopefully has their head on straight. Now in years passed, I could see us cutting him, be on the hook for that huge GUARANTEED contract, have him go on to sign with another team and be a top 10 qb for a few years while that team pays him peanuts and the browns pay him millions a year. Winning move there! Pay another teams starting qb a franchise qb salary. _________________ But wait! There's more!

It's a powder keg of a situation, with improbable odds of success.
So then Brock will just never play again? Anywhere?
Not for $16M a year. Or even $8M, or someone would have jumped on the offer that was floating out there right after the trade went down.
This contract will need to be terminated before his career continues.
wow _________________ 3/18/17 predictions:
Jimmy G stays with New England this year.
We draft Garrett at #1 (out on a limb there).
We trade back from 12 for another 2018 1st.
We do NOT draft a QB in the first 2 rounds.
