3 cuts today 2 linebackers one being Ball. Any idea if we may be looking at someone inparticular? Like maybe Riley who has a sleeper name?
Ball must be hurt still. on the field only probably the best LB we have outside of Irvin.

They waiver him with a non-football injury designation and he still hadn't participated in any workouts so yeah I would say so. They gave him a shot. Doesn't matter if you have talent if you can't stay on the field, ask Aldon.

The release of Jones hurts me emotionally, but makes sense. He'll land somewhere though and best of luck to him.

He was still a gunner last year. This move is a direct result of signing Patterson.

Patterson and the mixture of Holton becoming a good special teamer.

That probably had something to do with it also but Holton isn't lock to make the 53. Your point stands though as the guy who would take that spot would have to contribute on ST.

I dont think holton going any where. I think 5th wr. And pushing the 4th wr whoever that is between roberts and patterson. I could see Roberts getting cut before holton to be honest.

Maybe that was too strong of a word haha but he's one of my favorite guys on the team and was recently talking about how excited he was to win a ring for the Raiders/fans etc...but, it's the right move

You think Holton is gonna push Patterson and Roberts hahaha?

He didn't run anything but 9-fly routes and end arounds last year. More likely that he is pushed by Brent, Mickens and Zamora for the 5th spot.

Of course, performance in camp and preseason will determine alot when it comes to these lower depth chart spots but it makes no sense for us to drop Roberts after developing him. He is a clear target to be one of those mid roster guys that doesn't get resigned as a free agent and get added in to the comp pick pool equation. He will be a RFA next offseason and it rare that those guys get dumped unless they get hurt or really suck.

I would sig bet you on that because I'm so sure but I already have your sig guaranteed for this year.
