If you're gonna give us a WR, at east give us the best WR. Ala Corey Davis.
I would prefer Malik Hooker

Hooker's honestly a shade overrated IMHO. And certainly doesn't fit what the SD front office would do (they don't value safeties highly; even if Adams were here I doubt they'd take one).

This is just a bad situation for them since the guys who would fit them best - frankly - no one that isn't familiar with the team is going to value highly for them here - Derek Barnett honestly feels like replacing Melvin Ingram with (potentially) Melvin Ingram. Okung is likely to miss time during his (basically 2-year) contract, but you don't burn the #7 pick on a guy to play RT the same season you sink the kind of guaranteed monies into one tackle and a year removed from resigning Joe Barksdale to the deal he got.

If you ask me what I think the FO is going to do, it's probably go WR, partly because ownership has a purely stereotypical view of the market they just moved into and will think they need a "flashy" player with the first draft pick after the move and that they're - arguably justifiably - placing the blame on the offense for losing them games they were in strong position to win last season. That said, Davis is a better fit for a veteran QB like Rivers. Williams rounds his routes way too much and lacks the polish to run the timing routes that are Rivers' bread and butter. Also anyone pitching the "Chargers need someone to stretch the field" wasn't watching games or Tyrell Williams last season (he may have hands that are only slightly better - if that - than Martavis Bryant, but he's not short on long speed or freeing himself up on deep routes).

This is another of those situations like last season where everyone is pigeonholing a specific player to the Chargers (draft "experts") included and they're all going to get swerved by the FO.

Hooker should've been a Jet in this draft, but he'll do just fine with LA

lol make sure you vote next time!

it came down to a pretty clear Jamal Adams and then WR was 2nd most recommended.

Trade down with the Browns so that we can take Hooker.

Corey Davis if they stay put.
