Hate losing Burkhead as a Bengals fan, but I couldn't think of a more perfect situation for him. He was way underutilized in Cincinnati, and I always thought to myself "if this guy was on the Patriots..." welp, here we are. Good special teams player, really good receiver / third down back, and runs extremely hard. Good pick up.

Exactly. This is bad news for their other backs.

Blount is at most an average RB I don't know why some of you guys thinks he sucks.

Just Bolden, Lewis and White don't play ST.

This was inevitable from the moment Burkhead entered the league, wasn't it?

Why?
Because he's white.

I actually thought he meant BB's fascination with the 3 cone.

Bolden's replacement and an Excelent ST player. White and Lewis are in their
walk years.

So Burkhead's contract is for one year only. Means they're all in walk years. But they probably have to feel good about resigning him if they like his performance, given that he reportedly walked away from bigger money elsewhere just to play ball with the Patriots.

They apparently like Burkhead to see time on early downs. It remains to be seen how he'll be used but if he and White have big years, which they're both capable of, it'll be interesting to see how that winds up.

With White, same way as woohead and Vareen, I expect. Replaced by a younger and cheaper player. Maybe that's Foster, though I wouldn't be shocked to see a pass catching running back drafted. BB loves to acquire a third down back then red shirt him a season or two. Did it with both Vareen and White.
