With the re-signing of Newman, my list changes to drop CB off the list of TOP 3 or 4 needs;

1. RB
2. RG
3. OLB
4. TE

1. OG
2. RB
3. OT
4. TE
5. CB
6. WR
7. LB
8. DT
9. P
10. S

I would move CB down to 4th, after:

OG
OLB
RB

though I could see flipping my 2nd and 3rd.

OG: Round 2 or 3
RB: Round 2 or 3
DT: Round 3 thru 5
OL/OT: Round 3-5
CB: Round 4-6
QB Round 5-7

WR/S/OLB/TE --take if BPA in mid to late rounds.

I think DT will be valued more highly than LB. Zimmer has become frustrated with Floyd and Stephen, Johnson and Jones aren't ideal replacements. Given Spielmans tendency to draft for the future, I do see Dt as a priority to avoid having to pay Floyd.

Also a fair take. I am not as down on them, but I can see that Zimmer might be.

If Murray is signed, I'd probably go:

2. OG
3. DT
3. BPA T or LB
4. T or LB
4. RB

The pending Murray signing makes me agree with the above.

I'd prioritize T over LB for the last 3rd and 1st 4th (sic) round picks.

The 4. RB pick should be replaced with 4. TE (or KR/WR). But OP asked for 3-4 picks. Smile

Updating this now with the signings of:
Thielen, Newman, and Murray

1. RG
2. OT
3. RB
4. CB
5. S
6. DE
7. P
8. LB
9. WR/TE

I'd go:

RG

OT/CB
OLB
RB
S (if you could get an elite S, I'd love that, but it isn't a NEED)

RB is still a top 3 need, in my opinion, as there's a possibility that none of the running backs on the roster could be back after the 2017 season.

Fully agree, but they don't have to reach for one. Redshirting a rookie this year seems like a good place to start.

Agreed.

I'm still hoping for Mixon. Not only is he a great all around running back, but he's only 20 years old. So even if he needs to be "redshirted", he's still going to be very young in his second year.

Disagree. Newman won't be on this roster, probably, and you need 4-5 CBs in this league. CB is still a top 3 need, even for this year, let alone the future.

OG is clearly still a need. They are short a WR unless you think Bohringer (sp?) can play. C might be a need next year, if Berger retires and Easton can't play.

They have their two starting RBs now, I just don't see the same NEED for one this year as a RG, CB, OLB, and WR, let alone a development OT or C.

Update:

RG
OT
LB
RB
C
S

Surprised that CB is viewed so highly. Sure its a deepish class, but a CB taken is like going to be our #5 CB this year.
