Ian Rapoport‏ @RapSheet
The #Bears are expected to sign former #Cowboys QB Mark Sanchez, source said. They are finalizing a deal. More depth to the QB room.

Not worth a roster spot. All he does is turn the ball over as quickly as possible. He can't even be trusted to cover for a couple drives.

Three. Glennon, Connor Shaw and now Sanchize.

I feel like teams just keep signing him because the GM's don't know him or haven't watched him play and then hear that he was once a top 5 pick so they trip over themselves to sign him

I think a lot of people don't realize how bad most backup QBs really are and don't realize that Sanchez is just as good if not better than most of them. And Sanchez is decent locker room guy too and probably does well with film study.

Still think the Bears got to address the QB position in the draft. Sanchez and Glennon should never be the answer for your team at QB.

I feel for Mark. He works his butt off, is a stand up guy, great teammate but just can't get out of his own way. When he's on the field, whatever can go wrong will go wrong. A lot of it a result of his own terrible decision making and butter fingers but I've seen some turnovers where you can only shake your head and say "only Mark". He's cursed.
