I like the Texans selection a lot, but I think that we will end up taking Mahomes if he is available. I really like Mahomes as well. QB/OT are by far our two biggest needs.

In my mock, he will most likely be there in the 2nd.

Sorry, but the Browns will not take a OL in the first round. They just spent millions on LG-C-RG, have Joe Thomas, and spent a 3rd rounder on Shon Coleman last year, who they really like.

OJ Howard or Trubisky/Mahomes please.

I hear ya, I figured with them investing so much in the OL it's clear Hugh thinks the trenches are important. Ramczyk would solidify the OL and be their LT of the future. This would be similar to when Dallas too Zach Martin.

I guess it would make more sense with a trade back but taking the clear #1 OT in the draft would really lock down that OL.

OJ was my back up pick though. Also, I can't do a QB at 12, especially when one will be there at 33. I also think Garoppolo is better than any QB in this draft.

really not a fan of taking Mike Williams at #6. give us Hooker, or even Dalvin Cook over Williams

I know you guys have a bunch of holes but I figured a WR would make sense after losing Marshall and potentially Decker.

I'm good with this for the 49ers. Thomas seems to be the favorite in the forum as well.

How do you feel about the trade up?

#1. Myles Garrett is a no brainier
#12. Before FA this would be a great pick, but with additions of Tretter and Zeitler on the Oline just crosses him off the draft board. The Brownys thing to do is trade back and grab a 2018 1st round pick if its an option or select OJ. Howard or J. Peppers

I addressed my thought process a few comments up, but I see your point.

Don't want Dalvin cook with the recently revealed laundry list of off the field incidents.

Barnett, Hooker, Davis, and Foster would all be better picks

The value the Giants get for 23 is way too low and the Giants have never traded down in any round ever under Jerry Reese. Don't like the trade at all.

Interesting pick for the Browns (other than Garrett, who's a no-brainer). We don't have a huge need for a tackle, but we do have a minor need for one. While I think I'd prefer Howard, that's not a bad pick.

None of these quarterbacks is worth a first round choice in this draft, so yeah, not a fan. Plus, we haven't been particularly effusive of Trubisky thus far. Now we haven't worked him out privately yet, so we will wait and see, but I'd be upset if we take a quarterback in round one in this draft, particularly with a jump like that. I think we signed Hoyer and Barkley specifically to just hold us over for a year.

Looks like I'll be removing that trade haha, neither side wants it.

Yea my thought was to complete the trenches with Ryan at RT and can move to LT when Thomas retires.

It's obvious to me Hugh is a build from within kind of coach.

I don't really know how I feel about that trade for NYG. Good value, but Mitch would be an intriguing pick to sit behind Eli for a few years.
