After ripping him so hard last off season, I wanted him back this year, and now he's gone.

I hope Treadwell is ready to shine. We need him badly.

Never hurts to add a playmaker, CP adds a ton of speed that we desperately needed.

I feel like Minnesota didn't do too good of a job developing him. He showed some things his rookie season then just regressed into terribleness on offense. He won't have the pressure and spotlight on with the 3C's running the show so it's interesting to see if he can step up his game..

I agree 100%.
He is going to carve out a nice #3 WR role + Gunner + Kick Return

He'll be a good depth receiver for the Raiders, decent signing.

5.25 million, 5 guaranteed. Year two is voidable based on performance I believe it said.

All I remember of Patterson is watching him his first year and thinking he was a great pick, but didn't hear much of him after that. Hopefully having guys like Cooper out there will give him some chances to make plays deep, or perhaps he'll open up the top for guys like Cooper.

Who were Minn's WR's opposite Patterson the last 3 years?

I know they had Diggs, Theilen and Wright. Treadwell last year with Rudolph at TE

I like the signing for Oakland. I don't think Patterson is guaranteed to be consistent enough as a #3WR, but he has a chance to be and will be on a compentent offense from top to bottom for the first time in his career.

He really isn't a deep threat like some make him out to be, but can really churn yards on bubbles and screens and is an elite gunner and returner.

Lets just say I wish Denver gave 8M/2yrs to Patterson just a bit more than the reality of giving that deal to Domata 'Wait, he still plays' Peko.

They like those Tennessee receivers. I bought into the Denarius Moore hype a few years back.

Not that I think Patterson is a star, but this is a killer signing.

All that I've been reading and hearing is a 2 year deal that can be voided after year one. He's getting $5.25 mil in year one that can go up to $7 mil with a lot of incentives based on how many snaps he will play, how many catches he will catch, and if he makes the Pro Bowl. Better question is how can year 2 be voided or not be voided and how much is he getting paid in year 2?
